Well, my mane is Anabel and I am 35 years old. I have been married to my wonderful husband Tony for the past 4 years. I had the gastric sleeve performed on 7/26/10. Went through Kaiser and was referred to Mercy Scripps in San Diego to have my surgery done. My surgeon was Dr. Zorn and I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. On surgery day, I weighed in at 286. So far I have lost 62 pounds after surgery but was also able to lose 20 pounds pre-op. Total of 82 pounds so far...Woo Hoo! I am feeling great and am loving the shopping that comes along with the weight loss! I recently found out that I am pregnant! I am truly excited but also scared since I have had two miscarriages in the past. Both of course were when I was at my heaviest. I am about 9 weeks right now and so far everything is going well. I am staying positive and know that only things happen for a reason. I am worried about getting enough nutrition in and right now don't know what is expected of me. Will be seeing my Ob/GYN next week for the first time. We need to get my treatment plan rolling ASAP! I am in a plateau right now and have been for a few weeks now. Frustrated but know it is my own fault as I have not been staying on track of my diet since I found out I was pregnant. Hoping I can find some useful information and support by joining this website!
