Hey, my sleeve sista! What an awesome update. Congrats to you on your engagement!
I know I've said it, but I just have to say again, way to go on getting so close to your goal (and so fast!). Like you said, you will be happy one way or the other and that is really all that matters.
Now as far as the dress goes, that is so exciting! I'm sure they can take it up a bit if you lose a few or 10 between now and then.
Also, good for you on getting off that acid reducer. I long for that day!!! =)

Wow! You look great Irene. I am with you. Whatever makes you happy. Just ignore the naysayers. They are just jealous. Way to go!
The work you are having on your inner thighs,,,is it just going to be Lipo or a lift?

I was all set to go the IVF route as well, but it just wasn't meant to be. Four years ago I began with a fertility clinic and it was determined that I would need a myomectomy to remove fibroids, which I had done. Last summer (at almost a year out) I went back to the clinic thinking I was ready to try IUI and after some initial testing was told IVF was my only answer. I went in for a basic HSG and then a sonogram/mock transfer for IVF and found out (after very painful and bloody prodding) that neither could be done due to scarring...oh and they discovered new fibroids and cysts. It was determined, I think, that I needed to have something done with my tubes because of the scarring. I was heart broken, BUT my husband and I talked it over and decided that wasn't the right path for us at the time. We began looking into adoption and I'm VERY happy to say that it was the right path to parenthood for us! Almost 9 months later, from that RE appointment in July of 2010, we became parents to a beautiful and wonderful baby girl
I just wanted to share my story because the biggest reason for me having the VSG was to become a mom some day. Although I didn't do it the way I thought would happen, I still feel that the procedure helped lead me to parenthood and I'm so grateful that I am a very healthy mother who has energy and can live a very active lifestyle with my little girl. Good luck on your journey and discovering the path that leads you to motherhood!
P.S. here are some pictures of my little beauty!!!
deedee, what a precious baby girl. She is beautiful and you look great, too!
OP, good luck to you on finding the answers

Agreed. You will probably have it back by then. They always tell you it will take longer so you won't bug them on the phone or something.
BTW, you are going to love your experience with Drs Aceves and Campos. Good luck to you!

I think I have read some posts where some DRs can get any procedure covered by insurance. But most can't or won't. I think if you can get your insurance to pay for a panni, due to rashes and such, you can just pay the difference to get the full Tummy Tuck. That is what I plan to do if I really need one in the end.

Oops! Double post!

I just have to say,,,those pics are absolutely stunning. You are beautiful and you look fantastic in that dress. Also, that bouquet was one of the prettiest I have ever seen. Congrats on your great weight loss and marriage. Have fun in Hawaii!!

Thanks for the post and I wish you well with the augmentation! I hope it goes smoothly for you and you bounce back quickly!!

I agree that the $1340 sounds more like your 10% of surgery. I hope this is all working out for you. Have you found out anything since your last post?

Great pic and love the dress! You look fantastic

I felt the exact same way! I also went to 'Sexy Mexi'!!!
Guess what though? This is the best gift you can give her AND yourself. You will be back with her in no time at all.
Good luck and just try to relax and focus on your recovery soon.

Great transformation! Congrats!

Wow, I must be in the minority here because when I try to drink, even a sip during a meal, it just backs up into my throat and I feel like I will throw up. It definitely does not push my food through.
I am a little over 5 months and I still miss drinking while eating. That and eating slowly have been the toughest two things for me.

Thanks for posting, this sounds yummy! And easy, too!

Congrats on a job well done. I know you will do great in maintenance!

Yes, you will enjoy all of that again. Just be patient and don't try too soon. I can eat crackers WAY too well.
I have to be careful!!
