Secret Surgery 34

Good luck. I quit September 1st with the commit lozenges they worked great. I did gain about 10 lbs but for the first time in 15 years I am a non-smoker. AWESOME I have my surgery November 25th. I feel better knowing I have done EVERYTHING to be healthier pre surgery.

I was able to move my surgery to the 25th so I'll have extra day to recover before returning to work. When do you fly in San Antonio?

I fly in the 24th. I am going to stay a extra day in San Diego so I won't fly out till the 29th.

Get my sleeve November 25. Feel very comfortable going to Dr. Aceves

I'm scheduled with Dr. Alvarez on November 26th and couldn't be more excited. I wish my work schedule would allow me to move it up a couple of weeks. Anyone else going to be there over Thanksgiving?

My appointment is Nov. 25th with doctor Aceves. I am very happy.

I will be getting my sleeve from him November 25th. My BMI is 34.1 I think that is still kinda low.

So if someone asks me how I lost the weight I might lie. I guess it depends on who it is and how close I am to them. It's not that I am embarrassed to have the surgery. I would tell everyone if I thought they would be happy and support me. I am so happy to do this. I would do it today if I could. I just know so many of my friends and family are going to think it's the easy way out and I should just go to the gym and eat right. You guys understand how well that works.

Told my brother and sister in law last night. We hang out all the time so I kinda needed to tell them. It was ok. They tryed to talk me out of it. Brother so didn't approve. Sister in law was sweet ask alot of questions. I finely just said it wasn't up for debate. This is what I am doing and I thought you guys should know.

GeorgieGirl so sorry to hear your instructor outed you. That was so not her call. I would be very upset with her.

For the people who went to Mexico (Dr.Aceves) How far out was your surgery scheduled.

I am in the Puget sound. NW Washington. I was going to have mine done in Seattle however I am a self pay and doing more research have found that I an very comfortable with the idea of going to Mexico for Dr. A. I hope to get scheduled this week or next.

HI Secret Surgery, I am 29 (30 Dec 4th) and I hope to have my surgery scheduled for around February or March. I'm in Sacramento CA and will be going through Kaiser to have mine done - where are you located?

I am 29 years old with a BMI of 34. I refuse to tell anyone other than my husband and mother about my decision to get the WLS. I don't want to be judged. I feel I judged myself enough ( ALWAYS IN THE NEGATIVE ) that I don't need to hear it from others. On the other hand this is a big deal and I need to share with someone. So I thank all of you for your posts and experience. It is appreciated.

I have a appointment with Puget Sound on Friday. I will keep you posted. Went to there support group last night. They are really really nice. That's all I can report thus far.
