  1. Kaj, It's OK to be nervous. I have to tell you that this surgery is one of the best things I ever did for myself in my whole life. It gave me back my health. I didn't have anxiety issues until I was two years past surgery, and still do. My doc has tried different anti-depressants, and an anxiety drug. Though my angst is better, it is still pretty bad sometimes. It didn't start until I sort of had some PTSD from a terrible job I had. My only regret about my gastric sleeve is that I didn't do it when I was much younger--I was 58 before I could have it done. But better late than never! I wish you the very best in your new journey, and way of life!
  2. Big thanks to all of you who have responded to my problem. I have taken all under advisement. Best of luck to everyone in this journey! Rebecca
  3. Does anyone know of any sort of "syndrome", which features a great deal of anxiety, especially a "shaky" stomach? I am two years out, and have lost 100 pounds. This anxiousness occurs mostly in the morning when I first get up. I would appreciate any sharing on this question. ncbec in Ohio
