  1. Had an interesting weekend with the sleeve. Acquired a 24 hr stomach virus and could not keep anything in. Am feeling much better today and getting back on track with eating, drinking, and vitamins.

  2. Feeling some sense of accomplishment with my weight loss. I can actually see onederland in my future now and I hope to be there by the end of the summer. I will be treating myself to a shopping spree when I get to onderland. For now I am using things I have that were too small for me to wear. My key to success has been staying active...I exercise about 5 days a week whether it be eliptical, walking outside, biking outside, or lifting weights. My diet isn't that strict, I don't pl...

  3. Somewhat disappointed with my 4 week check-up at the doctor. I lost 24 lbs since my pre-op weigh in...have gone from 271 pre-op to now 238...however the scale shows I have lost some fat free mass (muscle) and I am exercising doing cardio and weights and getting my protein in 75 % of the time. I have a lot to work on...this process is not easy. It is a diet...you have to watch what you eat and journal. I am hanging in there...hoping for the best.

  4. I feel overwhelmed with laziness today. I am really wondering if it is boredom since I am still home on medical leave. I have been so good about walking everyday and lifting weight several times a week but today my butt is stuck like glue to the recliner. It is so embarassing. My husband will be home from work at 3:30 and I have done nothing today. I haven't folded any laundry, did the dishes, wiped the counters...just been a lazy sloth. I am thinking it goes hand in hand with the fa...

  5. How's your progress coming? Haven't seen an update since the day 6 post...I am following you and curious how things are going as I am having my surgery on Tuesday. I am doing clear liquids and can't find any way to incorporate protein b/c I can't stand ISopure and I just tried unjury chicken soup flavor this morning and it did not sit right with me. Any suggestions for clears and protein?

  6. I am in the home stretch now...only 3 days until surgery. I have did pretty good with the pre-op diet (atkins type) and have followed closely about 85% of the time for 4 weeks. I am starting clear liquids tomorrow for the next 3 days even though my surgeon said one day only. It can't hurt since many other people are required to do 3 days clear before surgey. Am anxious as expected but ready to get this show on the road!

  7. Hey where's your photo and info? Please post a photo so I can see who I am talking to!

  8. I have officially made it through 4 days of the pre-op diet and am beginning to get used to it. I hope I am losing weight so I can prove something on the scale at my pre-op visit on 3/10.

  9. Hello...I saw you are going to be a March sleeve so I wanted to get to know you b/c I hope to be sleeved March 15th. I am still waiting on the insurance but I will have no problem getting my surgery date after that b/c I know my surgeon personally. Good luck on your journey and keep in touch. Ann

  10. Anxiously awaiting a reply from United health care for approval for surgery. I need this so bad for my health. I have chronic back pain and have already had two back surgeries...I cannot wait to be able to have some help getting this weight off my joints. Please pray for me!
