  1. I have no idea lol Does this help? This is from my operative report: Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (85% subtotal gastrectomy) over a 36 French bougie dilator
  2. Please update us as soon as you can......hope you are doing okay. Sorry that I'm just now getting back to you but you have been in my thoughts!!! Jennifer
  3. Hi Heather..... No, Dr Weiss doesn't do the PPI test post op. I am not sure if Dr Oldham does or not. Girl, I'll tell you the truth........they took my On Q pump out in the hospital and I don't even remember it. I had to stay an extra day because I was having breathing troubles so before I left it was empty. However, the drain being removed was just terrible. I have talked to other people who said it didn't bother them at all. Have you bought some of those Gas X strips? Those helped me alot after surgery. Have you packed your bag yet? Jennifer
  4. I was sleeved by Dr Weiss in Lexington, KY on March 13, 2011 at Central Baptist Hospital. What stage of the process is everyone else in? Jennifer
  5. I finally, FINALLY made it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. This is so funny that I ran across this post.........because my last name is also Cunningham and I had the puberty too! :-) I am 32. I've never had acne in my life (not even during puberty) until after I had this surgery. I started breaking out BAD right along my jawline. I used to work for a dermatologist and he always said acne on the jawline area is hormonal. Also had mood swings and hot flashes. I am glad to report that this has all resolved.....and did not last too long after surgery. Hope this helps. Jennifer
  7. How long did your surgeon make you wait to eat chicken post-op? (Not pureed)
  8. Are you going home with a pain pump? They are sending me home with one, maybe that's the difference. No idea. Anyway, good luck to you tomorrow as well. Post on here as soon as you can so we can compare notes!!!!!
  9. Too funny! I'll definitely get some alcohol pads. We are being sleeved the same day, Dazy!
  10. I also packed tweezers and I bought one of those little travel pillows at Walgreens because I saw a post somewhere that said it is good to have a little pillow to press on your belly when you are getting up/down and coughing. If you have a walgreens nearby, I paid $4.99 I think and it even came with a little pillowcase. I am only staying one night so I don't think I'm going to take shampoo and a hair dryer. How about you?
  11. I am having the same feeling as you. Just over food. I didn't eat lunch and getting ready to go make myself eat dinner. Maybe it's nerves.
  12. Congrats! March 14th is my date too!
  13. I am self pay. My total from start to surgery date was 3 months, 2 weeks.
  14. Red Velvet Cake. Pure bliss and perfection. Goodnight, friend.
  15. I swear by Zicam. Also, saline nasal spray might help.
