Glad to hear everything is going well for you! :001_smile:

I have read of other women having irregular cycles after surgery for the first couple months. I hope that helps a little. Never hurts to get a test to verify.

Wishing you a quick recovery!!
Hope to join you on the losers bench sooN!

Cool thanks for sharing this info, will have to check it out!

Go to your PCP... when you go remind him/her that you just had surgery. They should have other options that will help out. Topical or oral that you can take. Sorry you are itching..

Listen to your own post.. You have done the research and you are ready for the surgery. I like what Wannalise said.. take him with you to your next 1-1 with the surgeon. Encourage him to ask questions. If he is not on board then send him down the plank! The experience will be hard enough without someone making you feel bad about yourself and your choices. *hug* Hang in there!!

Better to be safe!! Hope everything comes back in the clear for you.

I am hoping to hear by the end of this week. The anticipation is causing a few sleepless nights. haha.

It never hurts to ask. Dr. P in AZ uses a size 40. I have seen people post about a size 32 or 34. It will be interesting to see what your surgeon says. : )

I would talk to your surgeon. It really depends on what size they are willing to use. I am sure he/she would be able to work with you. : )

I am in the same boat... waiting on insurance approval and flipping from one extrememe to the other decision wise. I have done a lot of research and I feel this is the best decision for me but, that doesn't mean I am entering into it lightly. I have the added worry about my voice on top of it. I receiving professional contracts to sing opera now and I don't want anything to jeopardize these opportunities. In the same breath I need to be as healthy as I can be to do what I love! So I am with you 100%.

Good luck!! Wishing you a smooth surgery!

still waiting on approval from UHC... I will let you know what I find out. I believe bariatric surgery is covered with a 20% co-pay for state employees.

Good Luck Everyone!! Wishing you a smooth recovery! :tongue_smilie:

I have not heard of anything like this.. you would think it would be another factor in why you should be approved for the surgery.

Torani sugar free syrups are great too. I have the black cherry, hazelnut, caramel, and English Toffee. The black cherry is great in plain yogurt when you can have it.
