Globetrotter got a reaction from Chimera in How was your 5:2 day today?
New low! 160.2!!!! Please don't let this be a fluke!! The strange thing is, this is the new lowest low I've had since surgery, haven't weighed this in about 16 years, but seeing the number on the scale didn't give me the rush I thought it would. When I broke 200, when I hit 164 (the first time) I felt like a warrior goddess, I felt skinny and strong!! Now I saw it and was just like, "meh". What's that about?
I was made acting team leader because my tl was removed due to his temper!!!!
Does anyone know how to reopen a worker's comp claim?

Sheryl - have you tried using a lubricant that isn't Water based? Or simply use olive or coconut oil. Down to 161 flat!!!! Li'l Dickins scale teased me with 152 with my first step-on this morning. Stepped off, stepped back on and 161, several more times and 161 flat every time, so no I didn't lose 9 pounds overnight, just a little less than half a pound, BUT I'LL TAKE IT!!

Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels, or so say the super models. I'm not thin yet, but seeing a new low number on the scale is way more satisfying than grilled cheese!

Well, I did it! I did not cave in to the chocolate monster and I finished the day at 642! AND, I was rewarded this morning with a new all time low - 163.2!!!!!!!!! So close to the 150s I can taste it
My breasts though are still so dang enormous!! I wonder if it is something I am doing, like caffeine intake?

Today is going to be interesting, to see whether or not I self-sabotage; this morning I weighed in at 164 flat, my lowest post-op weight. Every time I get to 164, I do something to sabotage it, I go on a carb bender, I stop working out, etc. So I think it is a plateau both for my body, and my mind. I can feel the desire, to eat.

Hi laddies I am still here. Reall busy. Working wwith my mom to move her to a nursing home. Its sort of sad she wants to be independant but can not dress herself. She is falling more often and calling me to. Drive across town to get her something to eat. I had to convince her it was time she could no longer live alone and my house is not condusive to her living with me. Now the work of getting her moved.
Plus I have written a play about relationships based on the book of Ruth. The play is called Finding My Boaz. That will keep me busy until the end of June.
I know your all in the throws of life buying and selling home (good luck). Dating not dating and almost dating. Vacations from work and finding new places to work (prayers going up for you Globe hope the interview goes well). Caring for sick pups and dealing with drama from ill FIL (prayes of peace for you and family Sar). All those going through sickness and getting better. Ahh we are all in the middle of it all. Love u ladies and your strength for moving through it. And still watching our weight!
Is it possible to creat a second group and add those asking to join to that group? I had thought about starting a vet group for those still over 200lbs. I am still doing 5:2 still losing very slowly. I would like to be a part of both groups. Of course this one and 5:2 part two. No need to explain about not letting them in this group. Simply create Sucess in 5:2 Part Deux. Or 5:2 the journey continues.
    Thoughts?

Florinda, you are right! When you want the grilled cheese or reach for the cookie put a picture of that scale (displaying that low figure) in your mind and ask yourself 'do I REALLY want it'.
Ps I should take my own advice

I saw a photo of myself recently on a mission, I had a heavy coat on under body armor, a scarf around my head, heavy duty pants and boots, and I did not look fat. I was startled by how normal my legs looked, they were simply not fat, in any way. wow.

Wow, Phentermine sounds like the drug for me :/
I did NOT start my day off right, and it is the fault of ye olde scale-beast and this was a particularly cruel trick; I haven't been on it in a long time because I had fallen off a carb cliff and was resetting with 5 day pouch, I went to the bathroom, then stepped on the scale. It said 160 and a thrill went through me! But I always double check, so I put the scale in a different position on the pretty even laminate floor, and it said 165. !@$^&^#*@@!~#&*!!@!@$#%$!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got on and off several more times and every time, 165. Stupid fu**er piece of $h!t machine. Yes the batteries are fresh. >.<

Isn't progesterone a pregnancy hormone? It would stand to reason that you would gain weight.
