  1. I think the sleeve is a great decision. just choose your surgeon carefully, there is supposed to be some really great cash pay doc's..I think in Dallas or like Goodlife said in Louisiana.
  2. Wow what if she did give you the wrong drug? It sounds possible according to pccindy. Thank God you weren't alone.Maybe time will heal the terror and you can choose another surgeon.Hugs.

    Surgical Stockings

No I didnt have to wear them, I had the boots on for surgery but they removed those after recovery and I was walking within 3 hrs. Those thing are hard to get on too, can't imagine having to pull on them the first few days. Be careful.

    Frustrated...

Hang in there, as a lightweight Mommydog you're going lose slower and our bodies are in shock -the weight will come off when your body adjusts and it is much healthier to lose slower. Stalls are normal and the scale doesent move but the inches still come off. Be kind to yourself and patient, yes I know it's hard, I've had a stall too and the lbs are slow coming off but they are coming off. VSG WORKS!! Dont let it get to you!

    Went for surgery on 6/25

I'm soo sorry you suffered this reaction to the medicne and I agree it should have been given slowly, and the terror of not getting air. You did the right thing for you and that's all that matters. Sometimes kismet or fate hand you a definite sign and boy:thumbup: was that ever one to make you stop and think. It wouldnt matter where you were,USA or Mexico that had to be scary. I'm praying for you..that all the bad feelings go away and you are at peace. Take care of yourself and we are here for you no matter what.
  12. Congratulations!! Hang in there with the clears and the day will be gone before you know it. Good Luck tomorrow and let us know you're ok after surgery when you can.
  13. like Tiffy said hang in there, don't get discouraged, alot of us have them and suddenly the scale moves..just don't doubt yourself.
  14. Mary, I'm so glad you're home and feeling better and I think the full liquid diet does fill you up faster, take care.sip, walk, rest and repeat.lol

  19. I ahve UHC Choice plus and they paid for mine 2 months ago. When you get ur card go to the my uhc website and look under ur benefits. There was a phone number for Bariatric resource services 1-800-936-7246 and they told me of my employers covered it. I was dead in the water until I called them as I had already gone to a seminar and couldnt get anything from insurance so after 3 weeks I called them and it was easy from then on. I had to have a 6 month diet history and a psych eval. If I can help in any way pm me.Carla:biggrin0:
