  1. sorry I have been so slow to reply. I am ten weeks out today and I have lost a total of fifty two so far, I feel great and my energy level is way up.
  2. my name is Kamie I will be eight weeks out this next tuesday and I have lost 46 pounds.
  3. I am two weeks out today. I feel really good and I have lost a total of 32 pounds including my week preop. I was able to eat 2 oz of salmon today and it felt really good and I was very full after I ate. I miss bread and chocolate but I know that down the road I will be able to add a little back in. I can't believe it has only been two weeks it seems like I am further out. I would have this surgery again in a heart beat.

congrats on your success. I am only six days out from my surgery and I can tell you it just keeps getting better.
  5. to Momto2, I was on clear liquid with three protein shakes a day the week prior to surgery and now I am on full liquids for two weeks following, but it has not been a big deal because I am not hungry at all. It is a little hard to serve my kids food because I take bites a lot when I am cooking and apparently while I am dishing, so I have to be very aware of what I am doing in my kitchen.
  6. I got my plication done on the 17th by dr cottam in salt lake. I feel really good today. I am so excited that the surgery is done and I feel like I am on the mend. I have not been hungry at all and the heart burn that I have had everyday of my life up until surgery is gone. I don't know what everyone elses experiece has been, but so far I am so impressed with this surgery. I am now just anxious to figure out the food stuff. I can't tell when I am full or when I am hungry yet, but I think alot of that stuff will come with time, I am just excited that I was able to get it done.
  7. I just had my plication on tues. the 17th. How long does the bloated feeling last and is there any thing to help reduce it?
  8. thank you so much. I know this is just a tool to help with weight loss, I am just so concerned about failing, I want to make sure it is restrictive enough. I am so glad to hear that you have been feeling so well. I am excited to see how you progress. kt
  9. I hope everything is going well for you. I just set a surgery date of aug.17th for gastric plication, I am just not sure if I am confident with this surgery for me. I am concerned I wont be able to lose all the weight (120) with plication. I have so little information about this procedure, how did you decide to go with it?
