Ok so I just got sleeved on the 1st of Feb. When I go to the post op appointment do they remove the staples? Does it hurt?

Ya I had regular staples but they are gone now. Now I am just waiting to drop the weight will start working out next week.

Staples finally removed :scared0: Going on two weeks post op on Monday. Wondering what happens next so ready for all this weight to fall off I hate protein shakes so I am going to have to order that injury unfavored powder to add to drinks. . . . . .

what did you guys eat within a few days of surgery? I have had a little protein drink and water i can actually feel it going down. not hungry. -

Ok, so I am home and sleeved this forum has helped alot. One thing I think was we forgot to mention the liquid they make you drink to take an extra of your stomach hat was totally gross I almost puked. Other than that surgery I believe was a success. I have some pain/uncomfortableness but overall looking forward for incisions to heal :sad0: -

I just had surgery on Monday and had none of those symptoms you are having the hospital was very attentive in giving pain medication and it working well. Where did you go for your surgery? -

No I am scheduled for VSG and heard that some people get a port installed to drain the blood. I was wondering how it this determined? I have never had a band. This will be surgery for the first time for me so I am kind of full of questions My surgery is scheduled for the 1st of feb.

Kind of scared and wondering how the pain will be post op, when I will be able to go back to work. Loosing weight on this liquid diet although its killing me reading all of the posts here is keeping me busy.:lol0:

ok i got the tickler to work :lol0: ONE more week to go and so ready I actually started the liquid diet last monday just to get use to it and so that there is no complications. My mom is not to happy about this but I hope she will feel better about it once she gets to see the results.
