True Wannalise, I went to the movies on Sunday and I did not miss that extra 40 lbs in the seat one bit!! Made a huge difference!

Is that the churning "hunger" sensation that I get daily? I have been so confused because I usually only feel hungry after I eat! When I have my two cups of decaf a day my stomach doesn't hurt but it goes crazy, I feel hungry and it growls and carrys on. I have never taken a PPI and my surgeon never mentioned one. -
I am currently in a stall, just trying to remember that the scale will eventually move again!

I am checking in to say that I did NOT get my points!! I did 30 minutes on the treadmill on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. My goal is Mon-Friday 30 minutes each night. I really appreciate this thread and am really going to strive to hit my 150 this coming week! Congratulations to everyone who acheived their goal!

I'm in! This is Wednesday and I did 30 minutes on my treadmill tonight so that's 3 points. I pledge to do a total of 6 more points before Saturday. I am so glad you started this Booklean, I have been working out but I skipped last night. Hopefully this thread will not only make me accountable but inspire me to workout longer!

Finally heard back from my surgeon, he says no NSAIDS for life! He believes that they can cause an ulcer. I believe he is very conservative though because he also recommends no caffeine or alcohol, ever. I am only 8 weeks out today so I am going to wait for a few more months and see how I feel.

I am 7 weeks out and I just started to feel this way yesterday, I hate it. Some things sound good, cheesecake, macaroni and cheese but nothing that I should be eating. So I have begun forcing myself and if I think about it too much I would gag. I was like Lee, eating just fine and hungry 2 hours later...

I live in Columbus, Ohio and self paid. I had my surgery in Merriam, Kansas at a level one Center of Excellence for 11999.00. Couldn't be happier. Good luck.

I dread it, I lost quite a bit on Optifast once and I was only on it for about 3 maybe 4 months.
