Tiffy - Where did you order your sample from?
  5. Have you tried wine yet? I am also a wine drinking...mainly red, but enjoy whites, too, from time to time. I am only 10 days post op, but I hope by summer, I'll be able to enjoy wine every now and then.

    HOME after surgery

Hi Shutterbug I came home with 2 weeks worth of injections as well. I think it is more common for those of us who travel for surgery, and I appreciated the caution!
  7. I paid approx 17K with Dr. Cirangle. I am 7 weeks out and down 45lbs and would do it again without question! He is very professional and highly skilled. You will not be disappointed. I will second Mac though...this office staff can be disorganized, but worth dealing with to get the surgery through Dr. C.
  8. Ok, so I know we are not to drink liquid while we are eating, but what about soup? I've just eaten a couple bites of well chewed chicken and I have some tomato/basil soup. Will the soup make my stomach upset?

    New Addiction?

I just have a basic question, and am not sure where to post? Before surgery, I would have wine at night on the weekends and am wondering when and if I will be able to work that into my caloric intake. I am almost 3 weeks out from surgery and am wondering if anyone else enjoys an occasional glass of wine?
  11. Hi! I had my VSG on 9.9.09 and I have a 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 yo girls at home. I hardly need to lift my 3yo anymore, so for the younger one, I just sat in a chair and had her come to me if she need a cuddle, and the same with my younger one. I got into the floor to change diapers and fed them meals on the small toddler table we have. I moved this table into the kitchen prior to surgery so they would be used to sitting there for meals. My husband gave them baths when he got home from work for the first week, and lifted my youngest into her crib. I was fine one week after surgery to do the normal things myself, but continued to limit the lifting as much as I could. Over all, it was not a big deal and I am thrilled with my sleeve!! Godd luck to you.
