I am very frustrated. I had the sleeve on 8/10/09 and have lost 38 pounds. However, I am on my second stall. Have not lost a pound in 4 weeks. I feel the urge to snack all the time. This is so upsetting to me. I want to lose more weight but it's not happening. Any hope?
  2. I am so discouraged. I was sleeved on 8/10/09 and have lost 30 pounds. However, the scale has not moved but 2 pounds in 3 weeks...maybe 4. I don't eat much at all, no fried food or sweets at all....(sugar makes me sick). Any ideas?? I am depressed.
  3. I hit a stall at 3 weeks also. Happens to everyone. Just keep that in mind and know that the scale will move again!
  4. I'm one month out. When did y'all start eating popcorn. My husband cooked some last night but I wasn't sure it was ok for me to eat yet. BTW....what does DH stand for?
  5. My question is how did your stomach tolerate the trail mix...ok???
  6. I am starting my 4th week; sleeved on 8/10/09. I have been eating a lot of the same: tuna, cottage cheese, SF pudding, applesauce, Protein shakes, tender chicken (chewed really really well), steamed veggies (soft)... I feel great. I've lost 25 pounds and I no longer have sleep apnea, diabetes or foot problems...already!!!
  7. I feel so much better after reading all your posts. I hit a stall at 3 weeks and it was discouraging. I felt like that was all I was going to lose. I am at the end of the 3 weeks and after reading your posts; I am encouraged that "this too will pass".
  8. I had tuna with mayo and smashed peaches today. tasted great. My stomach is still sore and seems to be sore after i eat. Is that normal too?
  9. I am beginning my third week and just starting pureed foods. How will I know if I tolerate them or not. Will I get sick, will I have pain, I'm unsure as to what the signs of intolerance are.....
  10. I'm 12 days post surgery and am still sore. I was on the liquid only for two weeks and have started pureed foods; mashed potatoes, applesauce, cottage cheese. I find I am still sore and wonder if that's normal. Mostly when I roll over in bed or bend over.
  11. Thanks. I think it may be a protein issue. It seems to come and go.

I am partial self pay; my insurance only covers 1/2 and I can tell you I was skeptical and scared. My sleeve was 8/10/09 and in six days I have lost 17 pounds. I am no longer skeptical or worried. I love my sleeve.
  13. Hi. I'm six days out and havie been doing well. Today while out on a short outing, I got very nauseous. Not sure why? Anyone else had this happen.

Congratulations. I love my sleeve tooo.
  15. Just had VSG on August 10; down 17 pounds. I am happy with my decision but can't wait to get off the liquid diet. It seems so limiting with choices. I feel a little weak but am so happy.:001_tongue:
