Hey everybody!!! Have my first cardiologist appt next week can someone tell me what to expect and what can be next? Then on the 30 th is my inicial appt with my surgeon what to expect there too!? Help! So anxious about everything!!!! Thanks for your support!

Omg!! Im in an wls info addiction! Probably normal at this point i hust want to be educated bout what to expect and leave nerves out ! Lol!

Welcome here theres aloot of support havent gone through the surgery yet im new in all this have my first appt next week but excited i can relate to your story i have 3 boys 10,5, and 3 and its not easy keeping up with them its exciting but im scared just for the surgery and post surgery situation but besides that im looking foward to a healthier And acitve me and we are going to look great! I asked and i was told that the pulmonologist will decide if sleep study goes or not it depends on how you do on other studies so guess is like up to the md! You know they r all different and the insurance requirements as well, hope they do one for me cause i want to know if i have apnea cause my hubby says i snore like beast!!!! Lol!!

Im a newbie too! goingo to my first appt on 18 th with cardiology and with surgeon on the 30th so excited and scared all at the same time but ready for whatever! I really appreciate your story i have posted a couple of my concerns about wls horror stories that were really creeping out people with" this ruin my life" "im worst than ever"! And really i said isnt this a support group? But with everybodys kind words and your story makes me feel better im just starting the process my first appt my surgeon is april 30 th and my first cardiology appt on april 18 th excited and motivated just learned no to read or pay too mych attention to bad stories because it was kind if affecting me i learned here that everybodys journey is diferent thanks for inspiring me thanks for sharing positive energy for newbies like me! :0)

Hey to all of my rny forum!! Hope everybody is doing great and awsome! Question im starting the appointments process but have anyone have an approval for wls without any health related conditions?? ex diabetes high blood pressure etc. im lil bit concerned that i wont get it. have been fighting obesity for more than 10 years tried everything and nothing pills diet excercise crashing you name it bmi at this moment 42 so hopefully ill get approved beacuse of my bmi and by the way my genes sucked my mom grandma from both sides open heart surgery and high everything!!! Blood pressure sugar thyroid all the bad stuff! Do they tk in consideration you fam history too?! Dont want o get there like my grandparent and mom i want to tk control of my life an hopefully i wont get denied still moving foward with my appts and prayed up!! That it will come through for me! Thanks for taking time to read this and support and beautiful words always!!!...

Hi my name is karla and ill be starting the wls process have my first cardiology appt in april 18 and initial with my surgeon i just get scared when theres a a couple of people that i have read about here about the hell they go through all the medical complications how unhappy they are and seriously it gives me second toughts as motivated as i was ahh..! I dont know can a vet tell me how baaaad! This can be and is it worth it cause up until the last horror story hat i read i tought it was sorry! Just i lil bit scared... By the way when i say a vet i mean a veteran in rny somebody with experience not a veterinarian lol! ;0) xoxo!

For your kind words i guess theres tunes that im going to be scared along the process but, ive beendoing my research for over a year and im Ready to change my life! sometimes as a newbie in this reading people's negative stories its shocking but you guys r right not everybodys journey its the same i guess the nerves will go away as i go more and more in to it thanks again!

Hi! Everybody im just starting my journey going to my tests appts and all that loong process that we all know about anyway, a coworker of mines overheard a phone conversation and starts telling me that this is the easy way out she doesnt beleive on this that i dont care about my children and that surgery is for lazy people!!! Really!?? I think that you cant say anything to me i you havent dont know how ot feels to be tired achy overweight depressed not happy and most importantly not being healthy for my boys its the reason that i want a change in my life if people dont have anything goo to say then dont sat anything at all....

Omg!!! Im starting in this journey and let me tell ya!!!! It has been psyco stalking everything wls before and afters pics, you tube the surgery, umm... Oh! Yeah this forum lol!!! But when you dont have too many people on board or supportive ofyour desicion its like human instinct or something to look for somebody that listens and that are going through the same thing... So your not alone im a newbie so i got something to obsess about besides food AMEN to that!!! :0)

I think in my opinion that its not going to be easy but regardless of how u want to live your life theres risks life is a gamble and i have the same fears but then i think to myself ive had 3 c sections when u get an epidural u are at risk of not walking anymore if they pinch a nerve its a needle through your spine they opened your skin and uterus to take the baby out did 3 times sacrificed my life and in some way my weight for them why cant i take a risk this time for myself !?To better my health Theres risks in everything we do in life and this is one of them positive toughts always!!
