Im 14 days post op, and i just recently started feeling the tightness again where my band is located, sort of feels like acid reflux, gas. thought it would go away but its constant and bothering me and i Cant fall asleep. Any idea why? -
Its been 13 days post op for me, and since yesterday ive been getting some sharp shooting pains on my left side rib cage. Some times strong enough to make me stop right in tracks. Has anyone experienced this? Im a bit concern.

Was banded on the 23rd of september. -
Im on my sixth day in and feel like my band is jabbing my chest, really uncomfortable. Is that normal?

Omg thank you all soooo much, I guess you guys have the idea of how much I was freaking out. This helps so much! As for the pain meds, did any of you have to smash before taking? Scared if I don't, it will get lodged in my throat. It's absolutely disgusting! I also had plication, have any of you? -

Thank you so much for ur quick response! Did u also have plication? I did and was wondering if it was at all difference in recovery time. I'm on my 3rd day today and the swelling and the discomfort seems a lil unbearable to me. Some what like Agueda that doesn't go away. I believe it's inflammation, but what could I do? -
I'm three days in and I'm still very uncomfortable. Did you have plication as well? If so how did you feel going home and how did you sleep? I'm having a really hard time.

I'm just got home today after 2 days in the hospital. I'm very uncomfortable and seem like I'm still very much inflamed. What can I do to get comfortable? And can I sleep on the side the port is on? Please help.
