  1. Thanks for your very kind words of encouragement. You're a sweetie!
  2. Thanks everyone!
  3. Hang in there. It takes a long time to hit the sweet spot, my surgeon tells me.
  4. Me again. Banded 29 Oct 2013, and have dropped14 kilos from start of preop diet. First fill tomorrow. I'm in Western suburbs. Love to catch up. Anyone else keen!
  5. I was 98 kg, banded 29 October 2013, with 2 pre op high protein diet. As of today, 8 December, I've lost 12 kilos. I have 3cc fill from surgery. First postop fill tomorrow which surgeon says will most likely be to 5cc. I've had a few fluctuations lately. Had lost almost 14 at one stage. Eating 800-1200 cals a day. Hope this helps. Mel

  13. Thanks for the wise words. The culprit was bread. After the pre and post op diets, I've been craving it, but it's clearly not my friend!
  14. Just read this online after my first stuck episode. It worked! Try putting your left hand under left armpit, and flap your arm like it's a chicken wing. Until you get unstuck! Try it. It works!
  15. I just bought some degas tablets, which did not resolve the problem, but relieved the pain and bloating really fast. You may have to get some suppositories. They seem to work.
  16. How's everyone doing? I'm on mushies now. Week 3 postop. Weight loss totally stalled. I believe it's a thing, the 3 week stall.
  17. But they smell so bad!
  18. Liquids for 2 weeks so mushies on 13 November. How about you?

  21. Glad it went well for you Carvinplayer. I'm home. Feeling ok. I told my surgeon I felt like I had been kicked by a horse. He said so long as it was only a small horse!
