October 28, 201312 yr Best wishes and prayers are with you tomorrow. I am 10 days out, and yes I will say it hurt some, but not nearly as much as I expected. I pretty much slept for the first 2 days, but I did not have to use the pain meds very often. Just be very good to yourself and don't expect too much too soon. Everyone is different. Hope you have the best possible experience.
October 28, 201312 yr Does it hurt much- the gas hurts the worse. My incisions didn't really hurt that bad. I felt better at day 5. Just take your pain medications as needed and walk. Walking will help get rid if some of the gas pains. You can ask your doctor before leaving the hospital if you can have gas-x strips also ask if you can use a heating pad. Warm tea also helped me. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
