  6. I haven't had any real cravings for soda. It's been 6 months. However, a few weeks back I had a cherry lime aid from sonic not knowing it was made with sprite. After a couple of drinks the pain set in. Guess the carbonation couldn't get back past the band! Lesson learned.
  7. Awesome! Pick out something fun and cute!!
  8. Almost 6 months post op and 50 lbs gone
  9. I've been lucky that my doctors office is aggressive on the fills. I was at 5.2 cc's after the first 2 fills. Sometimes it's a day by day thing.

  11. I live in Kansas City, I'm a gal and I was born in 62!
  12. Hi, my name is Sue. I was banded almost 6 months ago. During the first few months I felt like I wasn't losing like I saw others doing. I finally realized this was my story and not to compare it with others. I went thru 'bandsters hell' during November and December. I thought to myself - what the heck have I done? Another thing I'm going to fail at. But I kept at it. Got more fills - 6 to be exact. I'm now at 8.8 cc's in my 10 cc band. The last three months I've been losing around 6-8 pounds a month. I've gone from a size 20 to a size 14. I've lost 50 pounds!! I went to my first yoga class today and couldn't believe how well I did. I'm off my high blood pressure meds. My knees don't pop when I walk upstairs. Just so many positives in my life now. The photos above are my before and current. I hope they show...I'm sending this from an iPad.

  14. Sounds like the same place I'm at. I was banded almost 6 months ago and have steadily been losing about 6-8 pounds a month. No stuck episodes. Just nice to feel satisfied with a lot less. Congrats to us!
  15. I don't see the tickers when I'm on my iPad, but I do when I'm on the PC
  16. My doctor's office does the fills every 4 weeks. Good luck Monday. It took me about 4-5 fills to get to point of not being so hungry.

  18. I know that a NSV isn't about the scale, but mine kinda is...I don't have to bend over to see the numbers on the scale!
  19. I've had 5 fills and now have 8.2 in my 10cc band. I haven't had any stuck episodes, but I'm pretty sure I'm right at the green zone.
  20. Thanks everyone. I drank some hot tea and did some walking. Much better!! Never going to let that happen again!
  21. I just learned the hard way that this drink is carbonated. What can I do to relieve the pain? Only took a couple of drinks of it. That was over an hour ago!! Help!!
