  1. Lisa, at this point, the only security I feel is by having my surgery done in the US. And is that really a "security"?? ((hugs)) to you my friend. But Im with Vera - I think there is a legal matter getting formed here. Know anyone that works for an attorney - to get some legal advice??? Im scared... for all of us.

  3. I had to laugh at this. Although you are right!
  4. Hi Kim - and WELCOME to LBT! my advice is to READ READ READ! Most of the main news coveringpre and post banding has already been discussed here, its just to find it in the archives. Glad you found us. If you have any questions, just ask! We love newbies!
  5. MIchelle, I was so glad to see this thread. I think about you often! Funny how unbanding is just as different as banding. One has restriction from scaring - and like you, another struggles with the head games. Please keep in touch. I dont mind giving you my email add so we can stay in contact.
  6. Hi Lizrdel!!! WELCOME to LBT AND Bandland!!!! How are you feeling?
  7. Hi Jrenae, and WELCOME to bandland!!! alot of people take GasX for the gas pains - and also we recommend walking. As much as you can. Good luck - and what a wonderful Christmas gift you have just recieved, the beginning to a new journey!
  8. Gosh, I hate this! ((hugs)) like Delarla said, the worst part was feeling isolated! Cracker Barrel is one of our fav's places to eat - I cant believe they didnt have their wonderful tortillia soup? or what about mashed potato's? or blackened fish? please dont let this experience discourage you from going back to this place. They really DO have a decent selection for us to chose from. honesly! Its gonna get easier - we promise!
  9. Where's the pictures of your tree????? I remember last years - how beautiful! maybe we could have a new thread where everyone could post pics of their trees?
  10. I havent made a "News Year Resolution" in.... well, years! But this year things are different. I want to learn French! And I pray that by the end of 06', I will have *at least* started this new adventure!
  11. OMG! Look at you!!!! You girls look awesome! Im requesting that someone can do a side by side with the first one and the last one. The July one and the December one. please???

  16. Francesca, As sick as this sounds, I was actually *relieved* when I read this post. With the fear of band removel - its nice to know we have scar tissue/phantom band to help us continue this journey. Band removel doesnt seem so scarey now. glad you are on the mend.

Is there anyone that has Zoe's phone number??? Shes been gone for a LONG time.
  19. Waking up feeling weak and shaky is NOT good. Are you on BP meds? The feelings you described are very scarey... lethargic? My goodness - you need to let you doctor know these symptoms. Try a McDonalds shake in the late evening. This may help.
  20. Crystal, Thanks for letting us know your feelings. Im feelin' your sorrow over here. Honestly, I am. If there is any one person I wanted to see a H U G E weightloss with this band - it was you. I dont know why. So, why are you waiting to see/talk to your doctor? He needs to know this.
  21. Vines, Ive read that Frank and Debbie are another banded couple. Other then you 2, I dont think Ive read about any others. What an awesome adventure to share together! The most that me and Mike have in commen are our 3 animals. How interesting is that?
  22. Basically you felt fine until a couple of weeks ago when you were having problems pbing, right? and at that point, my guess, is that the initial erosion had already started. This is so very scarey. Has doc given you any ideas on what couldve gone wrong or caused this? We are just so VERY glad you are ok from this! Phew! What a nightmare. ok, who's next?
  23. you know, I have NO idea what my BMI is. How do I find out?
