  1. Jamie darlin', your boobs are missing. :biggrin1: A BIG high-five to you, cause Girl, you look AWESOME!!!!:clap2:
  2. Things have been better. Someone suggested a craft project - so Monday we went to Walmart and bought the million of little beads that create anything kit - you Iron the beads together and the creation stays forever. We had a great time with it. Then yesterday (while I was busy fixing our nightly feast) Anne brought the bucket of beads outside and SPILLED them in the grass. Dont know why she brought them outside. I didnt ask. But now the *new* art project has grass, sticks, dog hair, rocks and dirt mixed with the millions of beads. *sigh* Then today she had a friend over that taught her one of the many ways to use a Monoploy game. The paper money is neaty placed in the right sections of the oiginal carton - next to the play cash register. BUT - there is a HUGE pile of toy cars, playing cards, a chess set (probably her brothers), -the bucket of beads-, all the others pieces of the monolopy set, baby doll clothes & stroller, toy guitar, some barbie odds and ends, and a Clue game - all scattered on the floor. Can you guess what they were doing??
  3. What happens if the young female already has HPV? Would the vaccine not work? Hope this isnt a crazy question.
  4. Sallyjo - thanks! This is what I was afraid of. From what Ive seen, I didnt think the park was finished, and I figured the crowds were extremely thick! We would be going during the week (not weekend) towards the end of July. Hopefully the crowd levels wont be so high... ?? oh - and we will be staying in a hotel around the Kemah area.
  5. Just wondering if anyone has visited (or heard of) the new Schlitterbahn Water Park in Galveston. http://www.schlitterbahn.com/
  6. Men are different creatures... glad to know that this isnt just an issue that women go through after major weight loss. Thanks Saul for posting this.

  13. GIRL! Its crazy over here too. We had Hurricane Rita damage our side. Since then homes that sold 150G before the storm are now selling around 200G. Have you bought stock in any mosquito repelent yet?
  14. Nana, youre face is SO skinny... you look like youve just lost about 30 more pounds! wow. And I dont think youre too old either. Hope you win!
  15. Pat, thats some good stuff. I have a question... who came up with the beer and slug idea??? Since Mike has his own brewery out back, this should be in interesting one to try. Drunk slugs. go figure. and a vole. Is that the same as a mole?? Those little things are so cute.
  16. Hey Gail, MY doc ask for us to wait 4 weeks between fills. Each time he administers a fill - he begins by pulling out the old fill amount before adding more... just to check how many cc's are charted compared to what he pulls out. This is a way for him to check for leaks. Do you know if your doctor does this too? Another thing I wanted to add is that many of us find restriction 4 -6 weeks after the last fill. Not sure why, but this seems to happen often. Hang in there. In a couple of more weeks, you'll know if youre ready for another one.
  17. (((Im here in Lake Charles - SW Louisiana. 2 hours west of BR))) That's one awesome house. When I looked a the outdoor pictures, I knew it was good ole' Louisiana - aka alligator land ((j/k)). just BEAUTIFUL!!! So, why are the people selling??

How Funny! MY 3 yr old was GLUED to the screen for Cars. But he likes loud engines, monster wheels... you know, car stuff. He didnt sit as well with Over the Hedge. My little girl - she's 5 - lost interest in Cars a couple of times. But sat undistrubed through Hedge... go figure?! So you have FREE movie passes to see this one again - that owner is one-of-a-kind! I couldnt remember this one's name. My sister brought my older 2 to see it at the dollar theater. Marcus - LOVED - it. My sister said it had lots of cussing and sexual references.... she was dissappointed! What did your boys think about it? Amy, this is like a modern day Mary Poppins. At the beginning of the movie, Nanny McPhee was UGLY because the kids were ugly. As the kids got better, Nanny McP started looking better. "I did knock..." hehe Meow, I know what you mean about King Kong - not wanting to see it. I still havent gotten my gumption up to watch it on DVD.
  19. awe Nana - sure hope you feel better. Think you can handle some hot chicken broth? What about pop sickles? Anything to keep you hydrated.

Oh my goodness, I cant believe I forgot to mention that we saw RV. I nearly pee'd in my pants from laughing... the giant rollin turd! This is a MUST SEE movie for older kids and parents/adults(Marcus is 10 and loved it - Anne is 5 and didnt get a lot of the jokes, she was a little bored in places)!!! My parents told us that this was an awesome show. Is it sad?? (I dont remember what they said) But Ive only heard great things about it. We got the movie Flight Plan (with Jodie Foster) for my dad for Fathers Day. Thats another one I want to see, but will probably take 6 months to schedule it into our show time. Ive never heard of Transamerica OR Hoot - what are these about?
  21. tztmama, Here is Anthony's updated status... http://lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=20029
  22. Hi Judy - and WELCOME! Gosh, youve done VERY well in a years time. I agree, exercise will definately help with body shrinking. Try putting your scale away for 2 weeks while you begin your exercise regimin - and allow your clothes to be your new 'scale'. Good luck!
  23. Those great childhood memories... sprinklers, long bike rides, oh - and I can remember all the neighborhood kids would lay down in our drive way in the late afternoons and make animals out of the clouds. That was fun for us. I NEVER remember telling my parents that I was bored. I dont ever remember GETTING bored. Neighborhood kids are the key to parent's mental stability! Im convienced. Thanks for all the ideas, y'all. Cindy, Ive never seen those sites. Im sure my 10 yr old will LOVE Discovery.com (along with some of the others) - THANKS! jen, I would love this! How do you get the other parents to share this idea??? It seems like everyone is estatic to get rid of their kiddies... but NEVER does the inviting. how sad. Thats one of our main problems. Jacqui, I wanna live in YOUR neighborhood. Australia - here we come! :clap2:
  24. coffee is a stomach irritant... I drink 3-4 cups each morning. The way I figure, Ive given enough stuff up - coffee is NOT negotiable!
