Tomorrow is the last of my pre-op testing. I go for my pulmonary functions and abg blood work and I'm finished! Although I just realized my PCP didn't do a urinalysis so I will call them to see if I could just stop in for it.

No I am using Barrington Surgeons out of Good Shepard hospital. I wanted to use the Kane center but their mandatory seminars do not work with my schedule at all. I even called to see if they would see me for a second opinion and she said not until I go to the seminar. My reply was, you're turning away a surgery for a seminar? Sure did. If they had a daytime one I could have gone but my kids are all over the place at night and on weekends. Anyway, I'm not the biggest fan of Alexian Brothers so its all good.

First of all I HATE needles. Second, I am the hardest stick in the world. I am so freaking worried about the ABG it's not even funny. Did they numb the area for any of you? I probably wouldn't be so scared if I wasn't so hard to draw. If they think I will let them stick me twice, they are wrong. LOL

Did anyone else have this done pre-op?

What did you wear in the hospital for the time you were there? Did you put pj pants on? Wear yogas during the day?

Hi everyone! I'm from Schaumburg, date set for Oct 14th. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

I imagine I would do the same. Not only am I married, but they wouldn't have thought to talk to me before so screw them when I look good.

So this week my husband got great tickets to the Chicago Cubs and sox tickets. Tonight is 4 rows behind home plate! Well my girls want to go, and since I am so fat and hate myself I am not going. My girls have a better chance of being on the jumbotran or on tv with me not there. I want to be cute and happy so next summer we can all go together. Just not fair to my kids, who want me to go, for me to stay home because of my own insecurities. I want to start enjoying these fun things in life
