Hi all- Im still pre-op but wondering why the shoulder pain and shortness of breath? -
Hi everyone...Im still in my pre-op nutrition appointments and getting really excited but my doc told me i have to let him know which surgery i want this next visit. Im 100% sure Im going with the band but have been reading things about it only last so long and you have to get it replaced. I was wondering if any of you have had to get it replaced due to age and how long have you all had yours?

Thanks everyone. This makes me feel a lot better about my decision. -
I am still in my pre-op nutrition appt's and since i have heard so much about hair loss i asked her what i can do. She said i should be eating 70-90grams of protein a day and if Im not eating that then that's why my hair would fall out. She said you can take all the Biotin you want but it doesn't replace the protein.

This is just me...but I'm wondering if the attention about the surgery and weight loss will calm down once you gain a little distance from the actual loss. People will eventually forget or move on and then you can start moving on too. Not sure when you had your surgery but it might be fresh and still so new. Good luck and try not to let it bug you. -
