I havent done a dang thing today and I have ATE Between meals....I have NEVER done that since I have started...I am bothered by this..but yet am trying to stay inactive today to see if I can get this pain in my side to leave....It is fine when I dont move but starts acting up when I move...I havent had my walk today and I doubt I will go for a bike ride...that is why I feel depressed and weird...no exercise today..I might just have to do it and be in pain...I dont know cant decide if I have pulled muscles or it really is my gallbladder...I am trying to decide what to do...I am suppose to go for a fill on the 21st so I am trying to wait until then to talk to the nurse so I dont have to go pay to talk to the doctor....Hope everyone has a great night and TOMORROW IS HUMP DAY.....The weekend is coming back around....YIPPEEE!!! Tazza, Here is my advice...if it is your right arm that is hurting...GO TO ER...If the pain in radiating down your arm it could be a heart attack. At least call the doctor and talk with them and see what they say....It probably is just gas, but with that kind of pain...you need to be careful....What does everyone else think???? Aweeee...what a nice hubby...sounds like mine...ANYTHING for me...we refinanced our house for this surgery...course he got a boat and trailer too!!! So, it wasnt like he didnt get anything..LOL...It is soooooo good to have support in your life...it is hard enough with all the other things to deal with, the one person who means the most to you is willing to put it all down and out for you to get healthy is soo awesome....I dont know about the work part as I am currently a full time student and did not have to go back to class after my surgery because of a VERY awesome teacher.... I have been having trouble getting in to lapband since last night....REALLY weird error messages....I dont know what I would do if it lasted over an hour...I even google it and try to get in that way and NO LUCK!!! Then this morning it did it again...I dont know what is going on but is there an alternative place to meet if something happens and no one can get in? I think I would DIE if I couldnt get on lapbandtalk....Deanna

You LOOK AWESOME Tracy...what a difference....I am getting ready to take my one month post op pics and I can wait to see if I can see a difference...Your face is SOOOOOO much thinner....Also, about my last post and the gall bladder...I am really thinking it is not my gallbladder...It hurt all night when ever I moved a certain way..I am going to take it easy today and see if I can get the pain to go away...DRINK DRINK DRINK...and exercise....thats the way to do it....Deanna

Violets, A quick question to all of you...has anyone had high upper right back and in front pain? It started last week and I thought I might have pulled a muscle but it wont go away, sometimes it goes down lower like where the appendix is..(my appendix is out) but most of the time it is up high..hurts when I move and I cant say that is hurts more or less when I eat. I am scared that the port has come loose from the tubing and the tubing is flailing around inside me...I just dont know....I was self pay so another surgery is completely out of the question... I was wondering if it was my gallbladder, but it hurts pretty much all the time now and I thought the gallbladder was just after you ate something....As of today I have lost 35 pounds since April 5th, so could it be the gallbladder??? GOod for you Evilah...I had NO luck looking for how to adjust my pressure..Mine is suppose to be a SMART CPAP system..yeah right...So, I did find the directions of how to change pressure on my machine...on EBAY...paid 6.95...better that paying 60 or 70 to go to doc for 5 minutes and him to say ok...lets reset your pressure...I am not against going to the doctor..just would rather not go if I dont need to...

Thanks for the info..I will look at cpap forum...I have actually looked before but not for awhile now...Julz, did you know you need a new mask every 3 to 6 months...preferably 3 months..the oils on your face make the mask weak and not hold the air properly..I think that is a lot of peoples problems with the cpap..no one tells them they need to get new mask new parts for their mask...Didnt know if you knew that or not..Deanna I am going to go searching for way to adjust mine thanks Mark..

Oh boy I have had sooo many masks..and had to pay for them all myself because once I used it the medical place would not take them back and then the insurance would not cover anymore for 3 to 6 months...I have had everyone but the FULL face mask...covering the whole face and dont think I could handle that...nose pillows, outside the nose resting up against the nose..nose and mouth, just over the nose...I am not sure which one I have right now..but I like it...It is not gel I know that...it has been the best one so far and I have gotten three of them in a row. I tried using the ramp button last night since I cant get into doc until the 22nd, and that was awesome...my pressure is set at 14 and the ramp starts out at 4...when it hit around 8 it was perfect!!!! I slept like crap last night the pressure kept blowing my mouth open...I sure wish there was a way to adjust this machine ourselves...I think we know if we need more or less...Deanna

Puddin, I want to share my feelings of sorrow for what you are going through. I can honestly say that if I were not married and I lost all my weight that I would not be doing the same exact thing. I think a lot of that has to do with being fat and being ignored by men...I know I have lost 32 pounds since the 5th of April and though fat still I dont feel fat.. I feel kinda skinny now...it feels good to feel good about yourself....I know all everyone is telling you that these guys are using you, and you know it. You are using them too. I think when you find the right one you will know it...and I dont know what to tell you about the guilt...sex if great...really really great...and when you find the right guy, you are going to say to yourself..."WOW...and I thought the sex was good with the other ones..."..Love yourself enough to know that you are a special special person who has been through a lot. You seem to have such an awesome personality and beautiful smile and now you have a beautiful body, but it is your body. Not every guy that wants it..it is YOURS!! So, if you choose to keep doing what you are doing...make wise choices...I think you know what I mean(protection) from EVERYTHING...VD and pregg...you dont want a disease to stop you from being able to enjoy your sex life when you DO find the right one...Deanna

Well, I had a respone written and you know how it goes when it DISAPPEARS!!! I know that mormon church teaches eternally replenishing the planet that you and your husband will be the gods over...it might not say it in those exact words....BUT YOU know it does...secret name to be called out of the grave by your husband..... Its all so common knowledge I dont know why the mormons try to cover it up...there are so many talking mormons...ex mormons or church going, tithing mormons...they talk....My whole husbands family is mormon...I should know...I get treated like one when they tell me stuff that I really DONT want to know....On the other hand I attribute my husbands kind heartedness and the way he worships the ground that I walk on to the way his father respected his mother.....being in a "religion" that is so focused on family could be any religion..not just mormons...so I attribute the way my husband treats me to the way he treats his mom..with the utmost respect, which has NOTHING to do with being mormon...at all....everyone wishes that they had MY husband, he is the nicest, family oriented man and not because he is mormon...he is a nice human being...nothing to do with what religion he is...he is what he is...a good man....I would hate to have someone define me a good person because of what Religion I was...I am glad that you have a man that respects you and loves you, every woman deserves that...we are special... In fact when I was leaving the hospital the day after surgery...the nurse pulled me aside and and said, "I am so impressed with your husband, he is sooo supportive and kind." Boy did I have a grin from ear to ear.....and I am going to agree to disagree I have been doing it my whole life....I grew up in a town of 3,000 with one catholic church, one baptist church and MANY mormon churches... I remember the first time someone asked me to go to something at the "Stake" house...I thought they meant "Steak" house....I freaked out...I thought they were talking about the place where the butchered animals...LOL...

Wheetsin, that is such a good point to pay attention to your eating..you know most of the time the fork just has to be taped to the table or thrown away to quit eating...WHY? Who knows..it tastes sooo good that one more bite becomes just one more and one more...then its all gone...and I think some of it has to do with the "Eat everything on your plate" that most of us heard as kids...I NEVER told my kids to eat everything on their plate...My FIL used to get so mad at me because I wouldnt make my kids sit there and eat everything on their plate if they had taken it. So what? IF you think about it...you are really wasting food every time you eat because you just sh*t it out anyways...so who cares if it gets wasted....WOW...dont know where that big rant came from ..sorry..Deanna

TheLid, come back here and talk to me after you get married in the temple. This is stuff they dont tell you about UNTIL you are getting married in the temple...Just dont be shocked when you are getting married and they tell you you are working toward attaining your own planet, your husband to be the god over it and you will be eternally pregnant to populate this planet...I KNOW plenty of mormons who are not so afraid to share this point with you if you ask...but most wont say a word and play dumb to it...it is suppose to be a secret til you go to the temple....

I remember when I first starting using mine I didnt think I would ever get used to it...I think it took at least a month to really get good and used to the whole tubing and mask and leaks and getting the position just right and then having to turn over and see if something else works...I just know that I dont really dare sleep without it..even if I just take a nap I have it on....I hate waking up choking...I usually hit my husband in the chest with my hand when I wake up choking...not that he notices..he sleeps VERY DEEP!! DEanna

I just called my doctor today to get my pressure turned down. I have only lost 30 pounds, but now it is way to high. I sleep on my stomach too, and somehow I have been fine with the mask..I guess I am just used to it now..I have had my CPAP since July 05. I am really looking forward to NOT having to use it anymore..CPAP burning party at my house...watch for details....YIPPPEEEE!!! Deanna

The thing with sleep in the recliner is the gas can get trapped up under the rib cage...I slept in a recliner for 7 days and then ended up in ER with such intense pain up under my left breast I thought I was dying...but the CT scan showed a big line of gas bubbles trapped in my intestines and pushing up on my diaphram. So, I say sleep in the recliner but try to lay down some during the day to let the gas move...Deanna

This is a great thread.... I was gonna start one of these myself... Ericsmom....do you have to have your air pressure adjusted as you lose the weight.. I have noticed a difference in the way the CPAP is working now even after 30 pounds lost...I feel like the air pressure is way too high and now it keeps waking me up because it is too high and forcing my mouth open..which never happened before the 30 pound loss. Also, Evilah, How do you get any sleep now without using the machine. Do you still wake up gasping for air or is it only when you are using the machine? Deanna

Kat, I know exactly what you went through in SLC...its a very nasty town with a very heavy dark presence hanging over it...and to carlene those clean cut mormon boys did that work for you out of GOOD WORKS!! They believe they have to do good works to be a "god" one day themselves. Pipe in if I am mistaken, but you mormons are working toward being "gods" am I not right? I know I am right..I live in Idaho..I used to live in Rexburg...the highest per capita of mormons around...and also the high per capita teen pregnancy at the time of 1988..it was on Paul Harvey...who can argue with him? These clean cut boys are oooh so not what they appear on the outside...I know plenty of MORMON missionary boys...oh believe me....my sons friend...has sex, drinks, smokes and yet he is waiting on his "mission papers". I know because he tells me..I am not going to judge him harshly and kick him out of my house for him doing these things...I also know that he is going on a mission because his dad is going to buy him a brand new truck if her goes....Thats sick...what a way to control your kids huh? there are the few and far between that are going on these missions because they want to, but most are forced or bribed into going by their parents...they have been told there WHOLE lives they are going on a mission...its just a sad story...my poor nephew being one of them...the girls are taught to grow up and get married and have children should be their mission in life.....good god...then not only that but when they die and go to "heaven" to be with their "god" husbands...they are going to be eternally pregnant...oh what a joy!!!!!
