That is great News! Did you have a fill yet? Or was it your first postop visit? That is awesome to hear w you feeling better & having more energy! Gives me hope ; ) I know in my heart, it was the best decision ever made. Also, I know for you. A year from now, we will be a lot healthier. I will keep you posted. I'm just very, very, sore. But, this to shall pass.

What a night at the hospital. I had the lap band surgery & a hernia repair. Very sore. However; I'm on cloud nine since I have had this done. Can't wait to get home! Thank you for the well wishes ; )

We all can do this! We will have some setbacks. Yesterday was my first pre-op day....it was rough. I'm just trying to look at the big picture. Even though, I did feel sorry for myself, more than a few times yesterday. I do have a relationship with food. It doesn't help that we eat to survive. Not easy. I'm not going to let food rule my life, anymore. I'm ready for this Thursday, (my surgery day), the start of my 'New' self ; ) I'm so blessed to have found this application. You all have been wonderful!

I feel the EXACT same way! Tomorrow is the start to my 3 day pre-op. This is going to be a big adjustment, however; in time, I know it will get easier. Hang in there! Your husband seems like a very considerate person.

Thank You, Donna!!! Did you try the Sea Salt? Someone mentioned that on an earlier post. I know, I will feel the same way, when my family will be snacking in front of me, (starting tomorrow)....We are all in this together. The next 3 days are going to be rough. But, I keep thinking, by this time next year, I will look & feel so much better. And, so will you!!!! Stay strong!!!

Jalgirl, it sounds like you have the right mindset! I only have a 3 day liquid pre-op diet. I start tomorrow. My surgery is August 15th. I can't give you much advice, however; I'm here for support! We can do this!

Oh no! Ouch! Thanks for the tip. My husband is notorious about flinging his arm in sleep. Please take it easy!

I start my pre-op diet on Monday. I told my family, tomorrow night, I will have my 'last supper'. I had a Subway sandwhich yesterday & thought, I will never eat a sandwich this big again. How are you doing? How are you feeling?
