I was banded 13th July, only had 1 fill so far. Lost 49lbs so far. Steadily at 2 pounds a week for the last month or so. Aiming to lose another stone before Christmas though. Hardly ever hungry & managing to stay on track almost every day. So doing pretty well. Hope everyone is doing well Xx

I'm in the exact same position. Literally could hear my stomach rumbling whilst I was trying to sleep. It's not gonna be fun for the next few days but at least we're in it together! Good luck xxx

Half a cup. Never usually more than that & if it is it is only slightly more. That's 2-3 times a day & then I have smaller snacks in between that. It's probably fine but I'm just not 100% confident with it if you know what I mean.

So I'm on the mushies stage at the moment & can't get full. I don't wanna overeat but I feel like I need to eat every couple of hours. Anyone else experience this? I know weight loss isn't the biggest thing but I want to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, Had my band fitted on Saturday in Birmingham with Professor Favretti. Was only a day case so I was home by the evening. Basically just been sipping Water & trying to walk about a bit to relieve some of the gas pain. I've already lost 7 pounds but it's only going to be because of the liquid diet, however I do feel really confident & positive. Just can't wait to get onto food. Finding it a challange to stay hydrated in this weather with a small cup of water pushing me over the limit but seem to be okay ATM. Looking forward to my weight loss success once I'm through the first 2 weeks

Hi everyone! Banded 13th July in Birmingham, UK. Just gone back to work over a stone lighter & definitely feel loads better! So glad to have found this forum, has definitely helped me through some difficult days. Felt like I couldn't cope with the big changes & because everyone said I was too young to make this decision I kept thinking maybe they were right. But you just know when you have no other choice don't you? Want to lose 9 stone from now, just need to stay motivated. Just coming to the end of my liquid stage as well & have never been so excited about mashed potato! Haha x
