07/29/13 can't get here soon enough! I'm ready for a fresh start just before my 25th birthday.Anyone have any tips/suggestions? What should I expect the night of my surgery? Any special things I should have on hand to get me through the first night/week?
Thanks in advance for your help!
July 29 is my date, too. I get scared sometimes but I'm committed. Wish I solved this awful weight problem at age 25. I'm 58 and I have lost 50-100 lbs 15 times in my life. Only to gain it back plus more. I feel this surgery is my last chance before I get seriously sick. Currently I am diabetic and my glucose levels alway runs high despite taking 4 different meds.

My surgery is set for july 29. Mydoctors do not believe in a pre-op diet. Nutritionists says drink every hour after surgery. I'm getting nervous. I usually inhale food.< /p>

Just came back from my doctor. His group doesn't believe in pre-op diets. Just 24 hours before.
