Hi my name is Donna. I just got my date for surgery for Aug 23 a month from today. I do have concerns, but then I am a worrier. I am not worried about the surgery itself. I am worried whether or not if I cough too hard it'll fall off or have a hard stool push. dumb things like that. I know I can do this. I am grateful and thankful to my Lord and savior who lead me to this place and to my insurance company who is paying for this. I won't botch it up. I have soooooo many chronic conditions that the doctor was seriously considering not doing it since I take 33 pills a day for various reasons. But not to worry I am all set. I live near Tampa Florida and will be having surgery in Tampa. Dr. Grossbard was in one of the books about LapBand surgery and I feel confident that he knows what he is doing. As far as my pills go I believe in the beginning I'll be able to get off about 10 of them right away. I wish I had this 10 years ago, now I am 63. Better late than never.
