  1. That is not good. You have to drink at least water just to keep from getting dehydrated. Please call your doctor's office and inform them. It's better to be safe than sorry.
  2. @Fischer, I can't burp either, but I get hiccups which makes me laugh all the time.
  3. @cappyd, I totally agree with you!
  4. BklynPenny I am so happy that you posted this because I feel the same way about my little chihuahua. He has been the best source of emotional support for me these last two weeks. I have adults for children. One lives in New York, and one is off to college. I am home all alone while hubby works. After surgery I noticed that my dog wouldn't leave my sight. He would lay next to me and look into my eyes. I even told my husband that I think he feels my pain. He's been following me all over the house. I love my dog soooooo much and I believe that having him around has helped me recover. Thank you for bringing up the subject.
  5. @ Fashionstylist. Hi sweetie. I would not stop myself from having fun. If I were you, I would go on the boating trip. As for food, I would take two wings and shred them up into bits, and serve myself some beans. That's enough protein. You cannot stop yourself from enjoying the summer months. Please reconsider. You need to learn (as soon as possible) how to go out and enjoy yourself while making the right food choices. Your lapband friend, Maria
  6. Karen. I was banded June 28. You gave me a great idea. We should all post before and after pictures this coming Christmas. What do you think?
  7. I love it when people post before and after pictures. It really inspires me. Thanks, and you look great. Keep up the good work.
  8. I am a teacher so I have the summer off. Thank God for that. I planned it well, because I am two weeks post op and still feel uncomfortable.
  9. Hi! I just had the surgery three days ago.
