Does anyone still have left shoulder pain or has ever experience that??? I was told it was gas pains but that was after surgery & then after that they said it was a nerve that was near the band that sends signals to the brain when we're full. Seems like every morning I am waking up w/ it & sometimes feel that if when I'm eating and I start getting full. I went for my fill yesterday and they would not give me a fill because I was complaining about the shoulder pain The nurse said I had a go see a cardiologist & I was like WTH it's not chest pains it's shoulder pain that goes away the same pain after surgery and the same pain that I've explained to the nurse and they told me about the nerve that was there and this nurse looked at me like she didn't know what I was talking about so she did not give me a fill. I understand when she heard me complain about my left shoulder pain she was concerned & just a precaution to see the cardiologist but just wondering if anyone else have this problem???

They moved my fill appt. to this coming up Thursday & that's way better because the week after that I go on a cruise, so I really need one don't wanna go crazy & eat everything....thanks everyone for your comments. Hopefully this fill will restrict me more.

I'm 3 1/2 months post op & I have a 10cc band & I'm at 7.2cc so frustrating because I haven't lost a large amount of weight because I'm not at the green zone...I have starting riding my bike & walking almost everyday & trying to eat healthy but geez I got the lapband so I won't be hungry all the time & eat less but just isn't happening for me I know it's a slow process and I'm losing inches not a lot of weight and I know loosing weight slower is better but it is so frustrating. When people know I've had the LapBand done they expect me to lose a lot of weight or to be skinny. I hate eating around people because I still or looks like I still eat the same when I'm supposed to eat smaller.

Your so lucky!!!! I got my third fill today 1st fill add: .5cc 5.5cc 2nd fill add: 1cc 6.5cc 3rd fill add: .5cc 7cc They say to wait a week & see what happens & I've gone every two weeks after my surgery which was on 06/28/13 & only have lost 5 lbs Today my husband got banned, watch it work for him grrrrrr

I've had my 2nd fill & no real restriction yet & only have lost 5pds since my surgery June 28th. Does it take several fills to get to what they call the green zone??? I now have 6.5 cc in my band right now & was told I have a 10cc band, I guess I need the full 10 lol

No your right, thanks for putting that into my head I don't want to damage my stomach or have to go thru surgery again.

I know I know doc. said liquids & mushy foods but I've had pizza already burgers, fries but of course chew the hell out of my food & I eat way way less sometimes. My follow up is July 23 then if all goes well my first fill July 31. No getting stuck yet, no vomiting hopefully my band hasn't slipped...& I am losing weight slowly & yes I know I could loose more if I ate right.

Where is my portal???? & if my band slipped can I tell??? Above my belly button it's hard as a rock
