Great news, surgery scheduled for the 10th! I am so excited!

I have not kept this a secret at all. I have told everyone and you would be amazed how much support I have. A few of my friends are even doing the pre- op diet with me. I am in the wine business which goes right along with food. I attend many dinners where I now be ordering broiled fish, vegetables and will not be tasting the wine with my meals. It was pretty much a necessity to share, but even if it wasn't I still would have. I am proud that I m in this journey.

Hang in there. Insurance can be a real pain!!!!

I am on day 8 pre op diet . I am having 3 protein drinks, using a lemonade flavor I bought at bariatric choice.com. I also can have 1 lean cuisine a day until days 12 &13 then just liquids. I have lost 8 pounds so far, hoping for at least 12. My surgery has been moved up a day due to having to change hospital because of insurance coverage! UGH! No problems with stools yet, hope it stays like that! Good luck to you!

I am scheduled for surgery on July 11. I am on day 6 of my pre-op diet and have list 6 pounds. I am eating I low cal, under 300 calorie meal and about 3-4 protein drinks a day. I do not use the protein shakes. I have found some great protein powders at bariatric choice.com. I especially like the orangeade and lemonade! Getting excited!

I had mine last Tuesday. Nothing to it! A little bit of a scratchy throat that quickly went away! Good luck!
