Sina Take 2

Hi there, I haven't had the revision yet, but I am in the process of getting it done, I see my surgeon Fri 28th of July. I am so excited, the band and I have been in a love hate sort of relationship and it is time for me to move on. When is your surgery? I dont have a date yet, I'm hoping to get one when I see the doctor. Let me know how you go

I have heard this from a few people. I can honestly say that if I could change my primary surgery to sleeve or bypass I would.

My band and I are no longer partners lol im on my 2nd band, my first band slipped December 2012.I had my 2nd band placed June 2013 and have gained all the weight I lost from the first band. I am with a new doctor now and in the process of going to the bypass. Currently I am doing a 2 month trial to see if my band is really is not working (my new doctor didn't place this band and wants make sure it's not the band before going to bypass). I'm looking forward to getting back into shape and to be done with the band once and for all.

10- waste all my money on beautiful clothing 9- be a fitness freak 8- like mirrors 7- share my sister's clothes 6- Go dancing 5- stand without my legs going numb 4- take a compliment without thinking its a joke 3- fit on a train seat without invading the persons space beside me 2- do something crazy like jump out of a plane 1- like myself

Did you have any testing done before the op?? Upper GI or swallow test? I'm so scared that the same will happen to me, hope youre ok

Hi there, I am in the process of going band to bypass too I had my upper GI in May along with some other tests. My doctor has given me the all clear. I am giving the band one last try (only a 2 month trial) just to make sure 100% that it is not working. Good luck with everything

I'm banded, this is my second band actually (first band slipped Christmas eve 2012). I'm loosing nothing I've only had this second band since June, but I am seriously considering rny, i hope everything works out for you
