I had 2 ppl at the hospital tell me I don't need surgery and could do it on my own....the morning of!!The NP I see at my PMD said today while performing my medical clearance for VSG next week Monday ( T- 6 Days til surgery!) that 'most ppl gain the weight back... like 50%, only one or two ppl can keep it off'. What is with the discouraging comments? I would like to know what the true stats are for re-gain post-gastric surgery.

of course comparing myself to others. So happy about this process.Bombs, I don't get this. How in the world is this SLOW? By anyone's definition, you have lost an incredible amount in 3 months. Either way, I'm with you. Wearing a size 12 or 14 in jeans, and enjoying myself. I cannot call my loss slow, even though it did slow down after the first month.

I guess I am a slow loser. 3 months 42 pounds 56 total. However, I am now wearing a size 12 comfortably and bought some 10s. Holy $!t! Amazing. I'll take this slow loss any day of the week! Hw 247 sw 233 cw 191.

me and the tummy. Ugh. You can find Marilyn Monroe control slips on ebay. With or without bra. Inexpensive and awesome control.You ladies all look totally amazing! Have you all had plastics? I have lost 48.2lbs and had an event to go to the other night that I really wanted to wear a dress to. I haven't worn a dress in years. I tried on several and some of them looked really great except for the tummy area. Just couldn't do it. I wore black slacks and a pretty red top and I felt great but I was disappointed that I didn't feel comfortable enough to wear a dress.

My hubby tried to put my pants on this morning to go let out the dogs. Normally they would be big on him...but today he couldn't fit into them! He was like " wow...they are too small! When did you get so small?"
