  1. I have lost the stress that resulted from my lack of self confidence and thinking about my weight every second of the day. This is liberating.
  2. Skim milk sugar free vanilla steamer. Protein and tastes like a treat! No need for the Rice Krispie treats I always bought
  3. Hilarious. Just ate 1/20th of what I normally would eat and feel just as full as every other year!
  4. Completely the opposite. Losing fine on the scale, but losing size faster than before. Exercise! The good news is, a year from now, it will all even out!

  9. Ok. Had olive garden salmon yesterday. 1/2 piece no basting oil. Reheated today for lunch. Oh boy. Does not feel good. I don't know if I ate too fast. Grrrr

  11. Don't be passive in your weight loss. Make sure you exercise. In 2009, I was approved and schedule for RNY. I canceled the day before. Just didn't feel right. That day, I went into my local gym and signed up. I have been consistently working out since then. Cardio, strength training. I invested in a personal trainer because I knew I wouldn't waste that kind of money. I have worked out consistently, even on vacation, except when my back flares up. If I don't exercise, my back flares up even more. Sometimes you have to push through the pain to come out on the other side. The reason why is she sharing this, you ask? Exercise is nature's spanx and girdle. I started this journey at 247. I was the most in shape fat girl ever. But morbidly obese none the less. My surgery weight was 233 on 10/21. Today, I weigh 209. What is more exciting, you ask? Today, I fit into my size 14 clothing. Even suits! The last time I wore these clothes, I weighed 185 and was sedentary. That, my friends, is the power of exercise. No one starts running marathons, they get up and take a walk out the door! You can do it!
