  1. I feel ya! I hate those days! I can imagine what your going through but be strong! Tomorrow is a new day and hopefully things will be brighter for you! Those scopes are never easy, but give it a day or two and hopefully you wont have any of the after effects anymore!
  2. Excited for you! Let us know how you are feeling whenever you are up to it! Congrats!
  3. August Birthday here too! A leo as well. My advocate True Results has there own "shake" that you can buy through them and out of curiosity I tried a sample pack and about died! It was not what I expected, so I have been trying all different types. My surgery is not for another 4 weeks, but I'm extremely nervous. I'm also sensitive to SOY, not allergic but sensitive in the least. Hope everything is going well for you and congrats! Surgery is only a few days away!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!

This made me smile! When I read the description the first thing I thought of was AIRPLANE! Then the first thing you have is the Airplane seats! I agree with every single one of these! I can relate and I'm so excited for you! My surgery is July 22nd and I'm just as excited!!

  8. First off CONGRATS! Tomorrow is the big day, I'm so excited for you! Second, I'm having the same struggle with who to tell etc. In the end I told the people closest to me and in hopes others will see my outward change and the ones around me can be exposed to the rest! haha. Best wishes to you, let us know how everything goes!!
  9. Same! The Wine is my weakness! All in time I suppose! Thanks!!!!
  10. Thanks! I love hearing what everyone has to say! I have an appt with my Doctor this thursday and I will be sure to go over all these questions with him as well! Thanks for the tips!!
  11. Wow! Thank you so much! My Lapband Doctor is very strict on the no carbonation rule for the time being. I have not had any soda, diet or regular in about 6 months, I started to prepare before hand. This is very informative. Thanks A LOT!
  12. Rewind! I'm American, but parents are British. My dad is very supportive though.
  13. Haha! I bet! It's going to hard for me at certain times, I'm Britsih and my dad drinks more beer than he does Water. In the end though, the positives out weigh everything!
  14. I like that Idea! Pick a day, and be wise!!! THANKS!
  15. Thanks! I'll look into the Skinny Girl! Wine is my weakness, same with those High Calorie drinks. Moderation, sounds good to me! Thanks again!
  16. My goal is 145, my advocate True Results and Surgeon is happy with progress in general but my PCP wants me at 126... that is general weight for my age and height... I think of that number and it SCARES me.. then I take a step back and think.. 1 pound is progress so the weight I've lost so far, I'm extremely happy about. The best wishes to you and the rest of your journey and happiness of course!!! Congrats so far!!!!!
  17. Hey Everyone! Questions here! I just turned 21 last August and I've been on a pretty strict plan on making better choices with what Alcohol I consume but I was wondering if there are any low calorie drink recipes you have? Or have you completely stopped intake of Alcohol all together? My sugery is in a few weeks and I'm willing to make any changes to be successful. I know nothing carbonated, of course but I know you could drink the calories away if I wasn't paying attention. What is everyones opinion? Thanks guys!
  18. Excited that so many people are from Texas!

This is great motivation. My surgery is in a few weeks, and I do not want any doubt that I can do this! Great reminders! Thanks for sharing!

  21. When I was preparing myself for the 6 months of doctors visits before my surgery (Which is scheduled for July 22nd SO EXCITED) they kept telling me to practice the small bites and lots and lots of chewing.. I'd do it for a few bites and then my habits would take over and I'd completely forget! I'm glad to hear that it is a learning process because it is one of my fears.. that I will take to big of a bite or something like that! Lessons I will have to learn I suppose! I'm glad that everything else is going great! Also along with everyone else!! GOOD JOB for spitting out the Jellies. Hope te rest of the journey is wonderful for you!!!!!
  22. Hope all goes well! I bet it will!!! xx
