Isn't the newest data in medicine indicating that the lowfat craze is part of what gave rise to such a marked increase in obesity and now diabetes? In June Time Magazine did a story spurred by new studies by Annals of Internal Medicine (and many others) indicating that fat, and specifically saturated fat, isn't the dreaded enemy it's been made out to be for so many years.
To make foods lower in fat they usually have to add salts, sugars and preservatives. Considering that we now have to watch every bite we put in our mouths, wouldn't it make sense to go with more natural foods with less chemical additions and subtractions?
Also, it appears the link to the website you gave to look up nutritional data is incorrect. As it stands it links you to a blank site with only information how to buy the domain name.

@jtickle I'm treated for bipolar and I think I understand some of where you're coming from. I grew up down south in a very racist environment. There are SO MANY times the first thought to pop in my head is very racist... not because it's what I really feel -- it's ingrained. As an intelligent, mature (sort of) woman now, I choose how I react or what I say out loud but I can't change the first thought that pops in my head. I choose my actions. I've caught myself saying the things in my head you describe -- just this morning in the grocery line, there was a very large woman and I thought to myself "why doesn't she do something about all that weight..." like it was any of my business or any of my concern. But, I also caught myself, tried to change what I was thinking and kept my mouth shut.
Don't beat yourself up too much on what your first thoughts or reactions are... control your actions. And, like many of the other posters have suggested, try to find someone to talk things out with so maybe you can find out what the real source of the judgemental feelings is.

The other day I lost it on the phone with a company that made peach muffins. You know why! Because she did not care that there were no peaches in my peach muffin. On this program you have to choose your eats. And I waited all day to eat half of that muffin..... I hate losing my cool. And most of the time I don't.....And as it was happening I said to myself...What is going on here?..Who is this woman screaming over a peach muffin?.A peach muffin for goodness sake....It wasn't even anything that was important!

Sorry, but I humbly disagree... We just have to dish about the same amount of money Kim did.

I too was the victim of a total jerk early on in the street, and later on a bus (a woman) (both are posted here) the first incident with a guy, I was SOOoooo taken aback, I cried in front of my nine year old and walked away. The second time, if I remember correctly, I spat out a few words back... They're everywhere!

The ignore function on this board is useful.

JTickle, I'll reiterate, if you don't like what you see in those women.....offer to help them, build them up, and encourage them. Don't you think that would be better than sitting back and dragging them through the dirt on this forum?
If you're seeking advice on this forum, you've gotten it: talk to your therapist and tell them the mood swings, the feelings of being judgmental, etc that you're feeling. They are far more qualified to help you than a lot of us are.
Pray and seek God. There is joy in The Lord. A lot of the moodiness can be altered by a relationship with Jesus.

It occurred to me that I pedaled my bike standing up! I never was able to do that when I was heavy. Now it's become so much easier for me that I did without even thinking. I guess that comes under the heading of NSVs.

So, when people post lots of selfies of themselves in sexy poses and sexy clothes and say, I think I'm still fat even though everybody tells me I'm not, do they really feel fat? I don't think so. I think they need a pat on the back. Come on ladies, just post your pics and say very loudly......"Look at what I've accomplished". Nobody is going to slam you for it. After all, you've managed to accomplish what we all are working for. I think you know you look good, but need to hear it from others.
