  1. Everyday I felt better. Pain was less each day and even though uncomfortable the first three days, walking up and down my hall at home helped. I tried to hold my belly because it seemed it hurt when it moved.... Sounds kinda crazy when I write it ...LOL

This is a great forum to read for answers!!!

  2. Hello post op Banders! I'm scheduled on Friday 6/28. I get out of the hospital 6/29. This is what I have planned...

    1. I have RV reservations on the beach Monday. Everything will be per-packed prior to surgery.

    2. I want to rest, heal, and walk on the beach. (no seawater exposure)

    3. I'd like to bike on day 5-7

    4. I have my adult son staying with me in case I need anything

    Too ambitious?

    Thanks!

    Timo...

Be careful... If you ride your bike often and are comfortable and confident on it, try... No off roads or bumpy roads.

Just remember any sudden jerks will NOT feel good. We use our core to steady ourselves... You will be sore..

I think it is wonderful you have your son to help and support you.

    Enjoy the beach...

  3. I have read other entries that seem that what gets stuck is different for each person.

I think when I eat something I should not be eating (even one or two) it does seem like

my guilt makes it get stuck???? I dont know... I am still trying new textures..

    Best luck in your journey

  4. Hello fellow bander,

I was banded 5-24. Stuck for me was very uncomfortable. Never happened with liquids, but when I tried a few bites of semi solid food that was not moist enough..... Stuck.... I kinda paniced.....Started sipping Water..... Slowly is was relieved.

Stick closely to the plan, but you will only understand for yourself once it happens... I have NO desire to do that again..

Best of luck,I am sure you will do wonderful!
