Cigna is making me do a 4 month of nutritionist. So I should be approved after that. So now I'm waiting another month. Next appt is 8/22.

I did the 3 months, but they are asking me to do a 4th one. I go on vacation on 10/10. So I'm hope its done early Sept.

The office called me yesterday and told me cigna asked me to complete one more Nut. Visit so it can be approved. Cant wait!!!!

I know how you feel. I was just denied too. After I went thru all they requested. They said medical necessity. So we are appealing it. Dont give up!!!!

I also have Cigna and have a bmi of 41 and was just denied. Did everything they asked for. So now it was sent again for an appeal. So stressed.

My info was resent back to Cinga. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thank You!!! Yes she told me not to worry that they will get it approved. So I really hope it does. I can't pay the money to do it on my own. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I found out that Cinga denied me because of Medical Necessity....WTF!!!!! I'm not a happy camper. My BMI is over 40. I did everything they asked for. So know they are going to appeal. Stressed grrrrr

They attached a bunch of stuff to me so u don't have a shirt on just your bra.

I have not been banded yet, but I take Generess FE its a chewable pill. (gross to chew unless you link mint flavor) Have taken it for over a year and so far no weighy gain. Its been great and dont get any mood swings either,

Hi...The stress test was easy. Dont worry you will do fine. I think the worse part was doing the tread mill in my Bra. Good Thing i wore my cutest one LOL!!!

Thank you everyone. I will go ahead and call them tomorrow. I'm too excited to wait :-) I called today 7/10 she told me I should have an answer by 7/15.

My info was sent out on Monday to the insurance company. I should receive an answer withing 30 days. Does it really take that long? I'm so excited can't wait to have my surgery date. Then it will feel more real to me :-)
