I wish all doctors do fills during surgery it is more easy , my doctor did mine I have 4 cc in my band since surgery and it make a difference , I am never hungry and I lost 20 pounds since surgery nov 6 , i went to my doctor today and he not even mention fills to me he said I am in the green zone , good luck to you keep chossing the right foods until you get you fill.

Checking in at 233 , 3 pounds to make my goal , so happy ))

My surgeon explained to me all surgeries and let me decided wich surgery I will do,he told me all of them have similar lost % 80,70,60+ except that the band take a little longer , I decided the band because it seem more safe from the other 2 , so far I am happy with my decision I lost 30 pounds including pre op liquid diet and down 2 sizes , at the end you are the one whom have to make a decision what is best for you not the doctor is you body and you owned, I was banded november 6 , 2013 best wishes to you.

Hi I was not told to drink decaf neither , I drink my regular coffe but little clear and no cream one time at day in the morning with raw black sugar I got tired of splenda and my coffe did not taste the same , so far my stomach is okay with it no issues , for my 2 weeks liquid pre op I was allowed shakes, sf jelly, sf pudding, tomato juice, raw vegetables, sf popsicles, it was hard but I lost 15 pounds pre op with that diet . Hi pretty thick I am 5 week post and I feel the same , I do not get hungry, I force myself sometimes to remember to eat or drink a shake , I do not understand the green zone yet but since surgery I am not hungry my band was filled with 4 cc during surgery and my weight is dawn that all my clothes do not fit anymore , congratulations on your success you are one of my inspirations since I am in this forum past may, happy holidays!!

Good luck on you surgery, tried to rest all you can and start walking when you feel ready at least 4 times at day 10 minutes at time , just take it easy for a speed recovery do not overdo it and follow your doctor instructions,

Happy everything went good in you filling app , I have a app on the 16 but I do not know if I will get a fill or not because I have 4 cc since surgery and I get full with little and not hungry for a few hours, hope this fill work good for you )

Hi all Today I was looking some old pictures and now I can really see the difference from before and after sorry I can't share but I don't know how to post pictures , I put together before and after in my phone and text the photo to my husband, he said you look great and different, LOL!!!! I was banded 11/06/13 , I just can't understand why I did not did this before!! Hi tried to drink your shakes and chicken broth often at least every 2 hours 2 oz also drink water it help a lot , keep drinking you pain medication as prescribed by you doctor, it must be gas if is a shoulder pain, the sugar free popsicles help also hope you feel better, keep walking at least 10 minutes three times at day it help a lot with the pain!!

Hi all I was banded november 6 and doing great thanks God!! I lost already 23 pounds from pre op and post surgery , I get little hungry in the afternoon but I get satisfied with a shake or a soup , today was the first day I ate a little of mash potato and I get satisfied with little , I hope all my fellows november banded are doing great too!! I just came from my doctor post surgery app and the doctor told me my band come with liquid 4 cc on it already is a 14cc band, no wonder I am not hungry at all and lost 10 pounds on 12 days post op , did anyone have the same band because I was told they come like that now?

Congatulations on your 2 weeks , my are tomorrow and also tomorrow going back to work, still in full liquids but doctor allowed me to eat cheese and eggs to start chewing he said , I might start doing that over the weekend, We are doing great!! )

Hi Ajtexas , I have no reason not to believe what my doctor said to me, the reason because I ask others was because I never knew the information they give me , I really do not see why my doctor will said something that is not accurate because for me it will not make a difference if they put it during surgery or not , for me this site is to help others and ourselfs to achive a common goal and provide information that can help others, you said " the band doesn't come with fluid in it" in other words you are calling me a liar or you are calling my doctor a liar , I did not appreacieted that , maybe we have to reserched to find out what is true or what is not,

Hi My stomach was getting upset with their Vitamins and I swich them , I also purchase the calcium but did not tried it because I was scare but I purchase some calcium in GNC that look like candy with dulce de leche and coffe flavor they are so good and my stomach tolered them , you can try them and return them if they upset you stomach good luck!
