Hello I was banded 24th may and I'm just wondering what everybody eats day to day?? Can you eat a proper meal?? Anything that doesn't agree with your band?? Can I still go out for meals and social events lol??? Thanks in advance xxx

Today I'm going threw hell! In sooooo much pain!! Very tight syomach feel like I got something in my throat and the gas pains are horrific!! And my back is killing!! Up all night for me again :(

So I've just found out that I've got a small lap name and it's 4ml... What did everyone else have when they had it first put in? Is that normal, appreciate any replies, thanks!!! X

Mine was 4700 English money.. I hope it will be the best money I've ever spent!!! that's including 2 years aftercare with fills, after that fills are £100 each I think... :/ xxx

In my hospital down all ready to go down!!! Can't wait now but very nervous will post as soon as i feel ok to use my phone lol!!! Xx

I was banded today also!! Wooo hooo, I feel like I've done about 200 sit ups lol.. But it's bearable pain... I can't sleep at all.. I'm wide awake.. And I've been given tea and hot Choclate, no food whats so ever!! Not that I actually want it anyways lol... But still I can't wait to share my journey with everybody!! good luck babes x

Mine was when I was walking down the road and 3 young boys in a car shouted at me.. * oi fatty, I got a cream cake in here for you *. That upset me loads.. And also I felt like my boyfriend was going off of me !! I've just been banded today.. Can't wait to stick my fingers up to everybody who ever called me fat or took the mick out of me, xxxx

I've just woke up!! All good not in to much pain so that's all good ! Just in and out of sleep. .my journey begins can't wait xxxx

Hello all I've been on my pre op diet for 2 days and I've lost 7 pounds woooo hooo!! Getting my surgery on Friday! Can't wait how!! I've seen a lot of posts in people being down on there selfs! C'mon we can do this!!!!!!!!!! Think positive!!!!!!!! Good luck everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello I am new to this and I'm due to get my band 24th may in 6 days omg!! I've done no pre op diet at all! I've just tried today to do just milk and yougart stuck it out till 7pm then cooked myself spag bowl!! ;(. I fully intend to get straight back on it tomoro and do it properly! Feel such a failure already!! I really hope I Won't get turned down for the band!! I would be soooo upset! I'm 20 years of age and 22 stone.. If I stick up diet strictly now will my liver be shrunk by the 24th? Thanks..,, xxxx

Hiya yes I am British .. Yes I'm having just milk and yougart although I wasent told to do this by the actual surgeon just his side lady... Who also deals with finance and so on.. I'm having my op with the hospital group, but to be honest I've read sooo much stuff that I've scared myself to death xxxx
