    Banders Exercise

    Getting ready to go run week 7 day 3 of C25K then go to the gym with my hubby. Next week is the last week of C25K I can't believe it's here already!!!! My first 5K is June 7th right around the corner. I actually think I'll make it through lol

    Started 'Couch to 5k today' Anyone keen?

    I am hoping to do the Diva half marathon in Long Island New York in October if u wanna join that's my goal. They give u a tiara and a feather boa when u reach the halfway point of the race I would love to but I'm not gonna lie it scares the crap out of me to think I would have to run 13 miles lol.. How about we see where I can get and if I can I'm in girl!!!! Thanks for all the motivation!!! Really appreciate it!!!! And just so happens I love New York to!!!!! @@livvsmum if I can't actually run the half next year I will definitely be there to cheer you and my friends on!!! Would love to meet you!! I actually just started running the streets this week to. For the same reason I figure I better get the real feel of what it's gonna be like. And I agree it's much different from the track doing hills!!!! Ugh!!!! But you got this girl!!! You are gonna do great!! You have crushed it so far and you are so motivated!!! Can't wait to see pics of you crossing the finish line!!!!

    I hope I have the same experience. I feel like I run slower than I could walk but maybe I'm not as slow as I think either. We shall see. I'm doing Run or Dye and my runner friends said people all throw colored flour at each other. So it will be interesting. Wish I lived closer I would run with you. Fortunately for me I have a few friends that have been doing half marathons and they all just completed the Pittsburgh full marathon. My kids also run a few 5k's every year. Best of luck on your mud run!!!!!!!!!

    Banders Exercise

    Did week 7 day 1 of C25K today. I had to run for 25 minutes straight. I never at any point thought I would make it but I did! Then came home and went to the gym with my sister and lifted for an hour. My first day back at the gym in a week. It felt so good. Last week was an emotional nightmare and I'm so glad to get past it and move on!!!!

    @@covatila84 wow you are my hero! I'm about to go start week 7 now. My first 5k is June 7th. I'm still nervous I won't be able to run the whole thing. I did Race For The Cure on Mothers Day but just walked I didn't think I could do it yet, you must be so proud!! Congrats to you!!!

    @@livvsmum I am having the same issue. I'm not sure my pace but I am definitely to slow. I just got back from week 6 day 2 and I guess according to the app I should be running a 10 minute mile. That's not happening lol I am probably doing a 14 minute mile at this point. I just keep thinking ill work on speed later but later is almost here.

    Courthouse wedding, reception later?

    I agree also. I got married in the exact spot I met my husband which was a bar where he worked at the time and that we now owned at that time. It was in January in the middle of a blizzard and our pastor friend drove in to marry us. We had our reception in August of that same year and most of our family still do not know we had a secret ceremony with just the 2 of us. Girl you do what makes the 2 of you happy!!!!! No regrets!!!!!!

    @@Mikee57 they are all right you will be surprised where you are 6 months from now. Baby steps for sure but you will get there. I actually told my surgeon that exercise would never be an option for me due to all my medical conditions. Well yesterday I finished week 6 day 1 of C25K and I'm running a 5K on June 7th. I couldn't walk for 3 minutes without pain and exhaustion. 9 months later and a ton of baby steps here I am. You got this girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Essential Oils?

    I use my oils all the time. I use young living oils and I haven't ingested them but I can't imagine they would be harmful with the band. Just my opinion though.

    Proper Calorie Intake while VERY Active

    I'm having the same issue. For a few months have been working out 6-7 days/week I do cardio 6 days/week and strength train 6 days/week. I work out around 1.5-2 hrs almost everyday and I can't lose any weight either. It's so frustrating and I'm also thinking I'm not taking in enough calories for how much I burn.

    Removing fill & eating

    I just had to have an unfill yesterday of 0.5cc and she said for me to follow same as if I had a fill. So 2 days of protein shakes and 2 days of soft foods then back to normal. Guess they are all different I didn't think I would have any restrictions

    @@livvsmum I am going to be doing week 5 day 2 tomorrow and I have been ruining at a local track by my house. I can't do treadmills I don't like them and I have balance issues. I haven't tried to run more than the app says yet. I haven't had to repeat any days yet but I'm still barely getting through each run/walk. My first 5K is June 7th a few days after yours!!! I can't wait to see how great we do!!!!
