I heard a lot of people stop smoking using Chantex, it is good stuff and well worth it! I had my hubby get some, but he stopped taking it...I don't think he is "ready" to quit. Good job Lawanda! You must feel great!

Carolyn~I know how hard it is to have to deal with family and friends that are against your decision, you know in the end it is up to you, you will make the right decision for yourself...it took me YEARS just to get up enough nerve to call the Dr. and make an appointment for a consult. I wish I would have had the opportunity that you have. I have a dear friend that is a Physician and I didn't tell him, I also have a cousin that is a Nurse, they both are in the GI field and I didn't tell either of them, they found out because I told one person and it got around. It must have been difficult getting that close and then not getting the band. The band will be there when you are ready and we will all be here to support you! People here are amazing at holding your hand and heling when you need it! Hope to see (hear) you around the forum! cool~Welcome! and best wishes on your journey!!

thanks nic~how did you put "On the Band Wagon" under your name/above your avatar??? I ordered the loaded queso appetizer and shared it with three people AND still had enough left over for dinner!...and I was full from 12:00 until about 6:00... BIZZARE...before I could have finished off a loaded chimichanga (w/meal) and the appetizer by myself!!! It just blows my mind that I can feel full and satisfied on such a small amount...LOVIN' IT!!! Dynamo and Woofay~I can see ya' now wnjoying the beautiful mountains, sipping on some wine and having a nice "grown up" kind of day!!...enjoy!!!

He is in Denver, he did mine, he charges $9950.00 w/ three months follow ups, then he charges $15.00 a fill. We are all very pleased with our Dr. and you aren't that far away from us. We have met gals from Florida, Alaska, Virginia...and many other places. Anyway, just want4ed to let you know about him, he is GREAT!! Hey all! I am not from Pgh, my hubby is from South Hills, I lived there for about three years. Just wanted to say hi and wish you all a well journey! We moved and now live in Colorado!!

Dynamo~Well, I think I have both...LUCKY me!! I think it started as sinus stuff, then it dropped to my chest and then it was a chest cold, bronchitis thing...I used to get it quite often. Anytime I get a cold, it turns into bronchitis. I took a bunch of meds and used my inhaler and I am feeling much better tonight...ahhhh, I can breath without a coughing spasm! Before I was in a funk, just feeling low and stressed about stuff and now I am just sick! I am over all the drama and the germs!...LOL Tomorrow is another day and I will wake up ready to take it on!!! Then Friday is my fill day...yippeee!

Woofay~So, your gonna be fixed?...LOL too funny! Sept 10th, will you be going back to the Crown Center for that? So where is the leak?...your port, the tubing or the band? Keep your positive mindset, things will work out fine! Dynamo~I am still around, still sick, sick, sick!! I always get a summer cold/sinus thing and boy does it suck! I hope you are finished with your ladies, I'm sure they will sell like crazy, they are awesome! You are so very talented!! How's your fill treating you?
