How long has it taken you to lose that much? And what does your calorie and carb and Protein and Fluid intake and exercise look like? Sorry for all the questions, but we're very similar in stats. 46 years old, starting weight 296, pre surgery 287 today's weight..approximately 263. Tyvm.

  2. After surgery, the first week was fine, probably just for not feeling so great, the second week I craved a cheese burger(not sure why), I'm starting week 4 and now I don't crave anything.....I really just don't care if I eat, now don't get me wrong. ..I am eating my 3 meals a day and most days drinking my Protein shake. But I can not eat enough to get in my Protein. My nutritionist has said to stop when I feel full, so I do. But it's not allowing me all my protein and calories. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

You have got to get in your protein. Even if you don't feel like eating you may need to eat more frequently with small protein-rich meals and Snacks.
Exactly what I do, I can't eat allot in one setting, so I eat throughout the day. Like now I'm having for a late lunch..2 string cheese and 2 servings of deli rotisserie chicken breast. I may eat on it for an hour..but I'll finish it...good luck.

  3. I took ya'll's advice and put a drink timer on my phone, cause I was getting all my Protein in but lacking in Fluid intake. Now I'm getting in at least 68oz a day, with a 15 minute timer and anywhere from 60 to 80g of protein..and walking. attachicon.gif Screenshot_20160926-144517.png

  4. First off, I'm not calling myself skinny...yet...but I've noticed a couple of things with my body that I'm surprised about that I wasn't expecting since I've lost so much weight.

First off...how the hell do you shave your armpits when they've turned into a cave?? I swear, my armpits are so sucked in now, it takes me 15 minutes to try to shave them....as off tonight, they're pretty hairy because I gave up.

Also, it's uncomfortable to sleep on my side because my now boney knees hurt when they're rubbing against each other....I've tried putting pillows and blankets between them but I can't sleep with that stuff between my legs...sigh.

And don't get me started about my boney butt on hard chairs and toilet seats!!

I am constantly cold and am not looking forward to the upcoming Canadian winter. My husband is already agitated with all the layers I wear to bed as it is.

But even with all these new "problems", I still wouldn't change any of it for the world!!

So what are your "skinny people problems" you weren't expecting??

Lmao...I was literally just telling my hubby something similar last night. He asked..did you sleep well..I said no, my hips hurt ask the time now because there's no meat on them anymore...and don't get me started when I want to take a nice hot bath..my ass kills me after about 5 minutes...lol But like you, I wouldn't change it for the world..sleeved July 25th, 5 days before my 46th birthday, down about 35lbs now...

  5. @@shani1970 - I did the same thing but mine was the toppings off of a piece of pizza. It was awful! I thought I was going to die. If you look back about 5 weeks ago I posted about it! I got a lot of support from the family on here, don't beat yourself up, push forward, and remember that pain when you think of making that mistake again!

    You got this!

    Tami_lynn

I did the same exact thing you did. I was about 4 weeks out and bought pizza for my god daughter and her brother, I thought, well I'll just eat the toppings..oh God..no, I was sick, couldn't hardly swallow. Threw up foamy gunk...it will be a very long time before I do that again, if ever...lesson learned.

  6. I felt really tired for about the first 2 to 3 weeks. I'm 2 months post op and feel great now..and normal. Short story..we're truckers and we stopped at our company yard the other day and parked over where all the trucks park...well, I had to use the potty, the drivers lounge is a pretty good clip from the truck parking..lol..I got to the lounge and text my hubby..I'm here, can you believe it, I'm not even out of breathe anymore! So yeah it does get better, just rest when you need to and walk when you can. Good luck dear.
