I'm scheduled for June 6 th! I have such an attachment to food' date=' I'm so scared to fail. I just can't fail anymore.[/quote']Good luck you can do it!

I hate to break it to you' date=' but the band goes around your stomach, not the other place. [/quote']Lmao but he is right. Your cycle should not interfere bit I would warn the doctor none the less.

Why is your band empty? You getting fills is what makes lapband a tool. I'm sorry your not getting support but that's even more reason to push yourself to success. Good luck! Talk to your doctor about fills

Hi all' date=' I just had my surgery on May 23rd. I've been on the liquid diet for two weeks now (one week before surgery and one week after) and I've only had one bowel movement since surgery. Is this normal?[/quote']Normal but take a stool softener for a few days am it will come (and be easier on you)
I started taking Miralax on day 5-6 and by my 3-4 day of taking it I went. My doctor told me if I hadn't by day 7 to start taking a stool softener and to not freak out because bowel movements will happen less frequently since there is less intake.

I just had the surgery and and I had some problems. After the surgery they tell you that you need to walk off the gas in your system. I walked all night and still had problems with nausea and stomach pains. After the upper gi series they realized the band was too tight and removed 3 cc's' date=' I immediately felt better. Has this happened to anybody else?[/quote']One of the girls I work with had this happen..I didn't have any Fluid added to my band from my understanding. I was banded on the 7th.
Hope everything gets better for you

Many thanks![/quote']If you follow all the prints through on a computer that's one of the options/questions. It didn't show up from my phone though

They help break down the food that's stuck. I saw some banders talk about it on YouTube and made sure I got some. They worked fast for me.
Need to try this out.

My doctor has made me lose weight before surgery' date=' my first visit was in January and he gave me 6mths to lose 60lbs. I have lost 40lbs so far and have one more month to go. He did not give me any drugs, but I do see a nutritionist and they put me on a 1200 cal diet, 60g of Protein daily. I also cut out all sodas, I drink Water only. Cut out fast food, sugar, Pasta. I mostly eat chicken, fish, veggies, greek yogurt, and fruit. I also eat 5tbls of hemp seeds a day. they help keep me feeling full and have lots of health benifits. Good luck![/quote']This is awesome and will help you amazingly with the transition to being banded

The more you exercise before your surgery' date=' the faster you will want to jump in and start exercising when the doctor clears you. Congratulations on your Day.[/quote']I should have gotten more into it before surgery then :/

That's how it was for me in the beginning...I would crave something' date=' say a dough-nut, buy one, take one bite, and thanks to the band realize I really did not want it...it was just something in my head telling me I needed it....after about a year of this...throwing food away I thought I wanted but didn't, the cravings went away altogether....[/quote']
I'm looking foreword to the cravings going away
