I work where I sit all day thats depressing. I go to get my first adjustment today I can not eat as much as I use to. But it seems everything has loads of sugar in it. I look at others who's lost at least 20 by now I've only lost about 10 pounds what am I to do????? 3 weeks in to this band thing and also should I be drinking muscle milk don't that make you gain weight to build muscle so lost right nowI've lost about the same since surgery. Most of my loss has been in the past week even though the scale had stayed the same two days. I was told I wouldn't lose much after surgery until my first or second fill
My goal for June is to lose 15 pounds

That's crazy but sounds like a good thing

I was far more self conscious about the weight ... a small bulge for the port would be a minor inconvenience for me. But I guess most of us guys are less concerned about those things. I also noticed my port seems to be moving as the belly fat goes down.Good to know it moved that would freak me out down the line lol. Thanks for the tips

Hello all my friends on this thread! I DID IT!!!! I WENT IN TO SEE A NEW DOCTOR!!!!! Yesterday i went in with my tail between my legs and sat down in front of a new Lap band Doctor. (Dr. Woody Denhem.) His weight loss nurse came in and told me " she was happy to see i came in to get fixed!" MY WEIGHT TODAY 384 lbs After a few questions on my history Dr. Woody came in. He was able to fill me on the spot.: Rules were liquid diet for 2 days and slowly start back to solids.
Thank you everyone for your kind words and encouragement! For those who felt like me' date=' PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL NOW!!!!! you will feel what I feel!!! Lets do this together!!!!
SO MY JOURNEY CONTINUES!!![/quote']
Awesome job and congrats in getting back on track

150 for the office visit' date=' and another 250 to see the APRN. I was surprised at what they charge when I saw the insurance claims.[/quote']They charge insurance different than the charge cash pay. Mine is 100-150 per fill after a year (I was a cash pay)

To stay full longer' date=' its all about Protein, Protein, protein. For fast easy meals, I go for things that are alreaedy prepared and I can just help myself to s serving.
I will make chili with ground turkey and after I nuke it, I'll add 1/4c ff plain greek yogurt to really boost the protein. It is super yummy. I also love Taco Soup, loaded with black Beans and again ground turkey, I also add the greek yogurt to that too.
My all time fave, I have an addiction too is ff plain greek yogurt, reduced fat Peanut Butter or PB2 (powdered pb) and splenda mixed together. Makes my mouth Water just typing this.
Notice my theme, FF Greek Yogurt, which I hated yogurt until I was banded. Key Lime with crushed pecans is really good too. Putting up ground turkey burgers, mixed with black Beans, another good one. More protein please.
With the LB, its all about being prepared. If you can spend a weekend day preparing meals and freezing them, its easier to just grab a serving.[/quote']
Thank you for all the ideas

Thank you' date=' Alex!Without LBT I'm sure I would have been a struggling bandster. I know I have learned more here than any of the other classes I was forced to take.

I have learned a ton here too
