According to scale this morning I'm at 190. Down 7 pounds and at goal weight. Now lets see if it stays because I bounce around on weight a lot

  8. I bought Unjury unflavored Protein because I could stomach another Protein Shake. Dreaded the thought of it. Well 50 for the stuff and it's the exact texture' date=' color of my vanilla protein I had. I have tried adding it to the stuff they say ( yogurt, your fav beverage, Soup blah blah.. It's nasty. Period. Don't waste your money. Can't mix It with anything cuz the scoop is such a huge amt that you have to mix in a freaking 1/4 or 1/2 cup of something, it just does not work![/quote']

Oh no :( I bought two bags last week

  10. My Dr. tells me to stay on clear liquids for the day of the fill and the next day' date=' then I can gradually start Protein shakes, creamy liquids.. from there it's soft foods then normal food.. I think if you are eating cheese that soon it may be you're swollen and it's causing you to slime... call your dr. you don't want to do anything to cause your band harm..[/quote']

    My doctor says the same

  11. Success! I have my Pre-Op appointment this afternoon' date=' and my surgery is still on for tomorrow. They said I was scheduled for Wednesday, but I never received a call. I even went back and double checked my voicemails, nothing. Someone oopsed. Oh well, I'm the last one to criticize another for forgetting something. My memory is horrible, drives my wife crazy.[/quote']

Amazing And congrats! I was gonna get on and ask how it's going when I saw this. So happy for you!

  12. I'm supposed to have my surgery done by Dr. Wilkenfeld on June 25th' date=' in two days. The only thing I'm nervous about is that the surgery center called me and asked me if I had completed my Pre-Op appointment with Dr. Wilkenfeld's office yet. My response: "What Pre-Op appointment?!" Apparently, they were supposed to call me to make an appointment, and someone dropped the ball. This was 2pm on Friday, and their office was closed.

Needless to say, I got upset in a hurry. Without the appointment, my surgery gets rescheduled. That means all the arrangements I've made with work, childcare, etc. all go down the tubes. Plus, I may have to start my pre-op diet over again? Someone PLEASE tell me their office staff is very easy to work with. Their office opens at 9am tomorrow. I plan on being on the doorstep as they unlock the door. I've got my laptop and my Verizon card, I'll work from the waiting room if I have to, and wait patiently for them to fit me in to the schedule. :D

I'll be nice and professional. But, if they tell me my surgery is being bumped because one of their staff forgot to call me in for the pre-op appointment, I'll likely be going to one of the other surgeons.[/quote']

:( Uh oh. Yeah calling to schedule the appointment was up to me but him and his wife do the preop on Wednesdays from what I was told... They normally won't schedule the surgery without being sure your preop is scheduled. Good luck and I hope the figure something out for you.

  13. I loved them too with all those yummy additions (especially bananas). I had one almost every day. But these are not the kind of shakes you get pre-op or post-op. At least' date=' not with my clinic. And I just looked at the type of liquids I can have post-op and it says Protein Shakes made without milk or fruit. Sounds pretty icky to me. I am looking into the Isopure high Protein clear liquid drinks , but I don't know what flavor to buy. Would love hear suggestions from previous users![/quote']

I hated the orange isopure so I always did red or green. Never tried the blue though
