The shamrock is on my left calf for heritage and the little hearts did represent my kids at the time but since then we have 2 more so I was thinking of getting a whole new piece and the heart I got on my 21 st birthday and later added my husbands name to it it could use some touching up it has faded a lot.

It will push the food down into the lower stomach faster. And you'll find that drinking while trying to eat some foods is disastrous. Things will get gummed up and plug the stoma. And when the food can't move through, the esophagus keeps working and working, but the Gummy glob won't go through. Then there's no turning back. Either it comes back up or you sit with the "deer in the headlights look" until it passes through.

I had my gallbladder remove exactly one year after I had my band placed. It was not the way I planned to spend my first bandiversary. My band did not have to be unfilled. If you have any further questions, let me know.

I actually talked to my Mom afterwords and I felt like I needed to apologize and when I did she asked me what I was sorry about and that she understood completely. She just hatd it for me because she knows how I enjoyed setting around the table with my Family and talking. She also told me that in time she knows I will be at athe table a healthier and happier man because of this and that she Loves me very much. Gotta love those Moms. Nothing in this world like em.

Speaking of post-op diets, one of the counselors at my doctor's office called me today. She calls every time I go into the next post-op diet phase. TODAY'S call was to tell me that I'm at my three month mark, and now I can have everything, except steak and pork roast. So, I'm in the clear for anything I can tolerate, but slab meat is one year out. However, I've already had lamb kebob, so I guess I've broken the last leg of my post-op tour. It was lamb filet, and I had zero issues. Chewed it up fine, went down easy.......I'm good

Today I took the kids to Busch Gardens (here in Tampa) as they are kicking off their summer vacation. I have not been here in about a year. The last time I was here, I no longer could fit in a rollercoaster and was mortified, appalled, and embarrassed. So were my children. This was my rock bottom! TODAY...I not only fit in the coasters....I had plenty of room to spare! We spent all day walking the park with very little effort or exhaustion. I hardly thought about food all day. I never had any anxiety about my knees hurting, my back aching, or my feet swelling up. I was having the time of my life! Last year, all I wanted to do was lose enough weight to fit in a rollercoaster...that's it...a simple request. If I go by this measure of success...I am there! I am a success story!! I still want to lose more weight....and I will set small goals along the way. But today...I am here....I am successful...and my kids think I am a rock star!!

No you are not alone at all!!! The past 2 days I've been eating horrible also, I am completely able to eat crap in large quantities without getting stuck!!! It's been a depressing few weeks here and I finally caved into it and here I am feeling like crap right along with you.

198 down 2lbs. Yay! Being in the hundreds is a pretty amazing feeling!

I wear my good bra under my sports bra abd it seems to really keep them in place!

I LOVE that he went public with his decision to better his health through WLS. Though we live in California, my husband and I are huge Chris Christie fans. We love his politics, and hope he does run for president some day. He's got OUR vote!
