  4. I did the same, every time I drank, I burped. Which is good, get the gases out anyway you can.
  5. I was banded 4/30 and have been walking every day for about 3 wks now. Would like to start using hand weights to start working on my upper arms. When did you start using hand weights?
  6. I am like that too. I was told how to flatten a Diet Coke quickly and I tried it...too sweet. I use to drink a 12 pack in two days. Chocolate smells turn my stomach...LOVED chocolate. When I took the children's Motrin a couple of days after surgery, I could not take the cap full way too sweet. Funny how our taste buds have changed.
  7. What helped me the most, was the Map my Walk app. Makes me want to do better than the day before. Right now I mostly walk the football track and sometimes a park not far from here. Has really helped get me to walking every single day.
  8. I am going this evening for my first fill and was a bit nervous...mind is at ease now.
  9. A friend told me about the Map my Walk app. I use to walk the track and such, but was not consistent. This app has made me want to see if I can do a little better each day. Funny how an app can get you moving and excited to exercise. Just wanted to share incase someone was like me, walks occasionally and needs some motivation.
  10. I have not changed laundry detergent or anything, but since my surgery April 30th, I have a rash. It is all over my legs, arms and stomach. It is driving me nuts. Has anyone else had this happen? Need to go see dr, but just curious.

  12. Does anyone else get hiccups daily now since your surgery??
  13. Congratulations, you look wonderful.
  14. Yay!!! Congratulations, and yes, you are making total sense.
  15. Mine is also doing the same thing today...about takes my breathe away when a stabbing pain happens.
  16. I was also banded on the 30th. I was allowed mushy foods on Friday. If I keep my protein shakes around me, even at work, I am okay. I have also been eating soap...I am shocked though, the shakes do better for me. Today is my first post op appointment, hopefully will be released to more food now, though.
  17. Taylor, I know you will not feel like iy much, but walk as much as you can...it helps!!
  18. I am staying hungry now, tomorrow I go back to work. Still on liquid and soft diet. Thought about taking 2 shakes and some refried beans to work. Any other suggestions or better ideas??
  19. I wake up and have my hot tea each morning and my shake. This morning though by 10:30am, I needed some malt o meal that was on the list of what I can have. I get that "crash" feeling when I am hungry and it happens often. Going to my first post op visit Wednesday, but going back to work tomorrow. Really do not want to starve all day, but I also do not want to be eating every hour either. Has anyone else felt this and how did you get that feeling to go away.
  20. I was banded 4/30 and today is the first day I have felt good. Up until yesterday I was letting myself have it for doing this and causing so much pain. IF I would have done this for vanity reasons and not my health,I probably would have kicked my own butt. Luckily, I have two friends who did this 2 yrs prior and keep telling me this will pass and I will be so glad I did it. Ready to be back at work and be normal.
  21. Mine is Tuesday morning...I am ready!!!
