Had a fill today and am down a total of 59.8 lbs! ( I am rounding up to 60 I currently have 6.44 cc in the 10 cc band. I think this will put me in my sweet spot. Thanksgiving wasnt half as bad as I expected. Christmas will be the same I am hoping. My progress has been steady and I was frustrated because I wanted to see results fast. My size 16 jeans are baggy and that is a great feeling. My body is a total apple shape and I have lost inches in my middle. So happy that I made this decision to have the lapband. I feel better and have more energy. I am 5'7" so I am hoping to be a solid 175 and I will be happy. I am not a small girl. Believe it or not I enjoy cooking and eating out much now than before I was banded. I have learned to taste food, and dont care about cramming it it. Sometimes I have the head hunger and wish I could just eat a double cheese burger with the works. However, I know I have to stay focused. Happy Holidays to all ! My Dr said no soda ever again. I was really bummed about that and thought I'd have a hard time. I loved my Diet Coke. But honestly for me it wasnt hard Havent had one in 5 months. I replaced it with Crystal Light Peach Tea. Or Snapple Diet Peach Tea.
