I hope that's ok!!! I am not getting all my Protein in because I barely eat I can't take grits or oatmeal each meal and I'm not fond of All the shakes I bought. I want food! I did eat some Beans today with no problems noted!O wow I did have stitches at 2 sites where my 2 drain tubes were. Those sutures were taken out with the drain tubes before leaving te hospital thank God because I think those tubes added to pain!Why did u have to have open?Girl dont be upset about not losing Anything, you will! And lots! Some people's bodies are just different because of the surgery and fluids, being swollen, retaining Water, so many factors but remember we did just have rny you will lose. !What stitches did you get out? I don't see any, or perhaps they are under the steri-strips at the incision sites ?Help with taking medicine! Ibcrush my meds but taking them with little bites of yogurt or applesauce isn't good enough it almost makes me barf!! Any ideas??Girl yes! I did not prepare for this pain at all! I have been in bed about 98% time because it hurts too much any other way!Thanks ladies!I was scared to especially because it was my first surgery! I asked for some meds for anxiety and they gave me versed. That really helped because once I got to the OR I do not remember anything! I was in a little abd. Discomfort while in recovery but was given dialidid every 10 minutes which helps and it gets better! You will do fine! Don't be scared because if I could do this, lol so can u! Good luck hope all goes just as good for you!Look awesome girl!Looking great I am so excited to have done this!!I am still NPO tonight and tomorrow until I have the upper GI series but then I will and I have walked 2! I have morphine PCA pump for pain what did everyone else have?
